JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Friends, God has walked each step with me this weekend in Atlanta.

I was able to defuse a touchy situation with the baby being really awful and hurting both her mommy and her big sister with no discipline. A quiet firm time-out helped, and maybe will serve as an example of another way to discipline her when she is fixated on a naughty behavior.

I was able to explain to Kassie why Pam asked her to stand-in at the altar and be anointed for her mommy for relief from pain and for a successful back surgery this coming Wednesday.  God helped me find the scripture in James that instructs us for this prayer of healing and to figure out a way to help Kassie see the significance of her act.

Then, I was given strength far beyond what I have had for several weeks to be able to help around the house and I even cooked a whole meal for the family!

And, I could go on and on. He also prompted the next door neighbor to call and I've prayed for an opening to testify to her for 15 years. God provided that opening tonight and she and I shed tears together on the phone. Praise His name!

And my prayer partner at church phoned to find out why I was absent and again we had a time of worshipping and praying together on the phone.

And, God provided just the sermon I needed to hear as I was driving home. And the worshipful music blessed me so much at one point that I had to cry sweet tears of thanksgiving.

And, thankfully, He allowed me safe travel over a road that was iced over and dangerous. I asked Him last night why I had to stay another night, and I believe from the above, you can see He showed me exactly why.

Thanks be to God for His wonderful gift of love, his Son Christ Jesus.

Oh, yes, and when we arrived home from church today, Pam (for the first time in 4 nights) had fallen asleep and slept comfortably the entire time we were at church. Kassie's mouth dropped open and she said, "GRANDMA! God is REALLY answering our prayers!"
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Â                 Thank you Pat for the beautiful card, this is not what I wanted to hear at all but as long as he is with the Lord I'll get thru.I was getting to be so much closer to my dad than I have for yrs.We were never very close and just started a better relationship the last  few years. ,Beth

Ruth Ann = Praise the Lord.  Isn't He awesome.

Beth - I am so sorry.  I lost my dad just over three years ago, and there is just something about a father/daughter relationship that cannot be replaced.  I will be praying that God's comfort, grace, and love shower you and surround you in ways you've never known before.

Take care all, and good night.

Beth:  I don't know how to do the cards and fancy things on here like some others can., BUT - please accept my sincerest sympathy on the passing of your dad.

Its wonderful to know that he is with the Lord.  I'm praying that you will be able to attend his funeral service, and that your surgery won't have to be postponed.

Ruth Ann - I am praising the Lord along with you.

Larry:  My love to you and Pat.  I'm so happy for you, that you were able to attend church and have sweet fellowship with your friends after the service.

Lovingly to all.,
Judy

I thank our God that he's with our Lord, Beth, but I also echo Karma's prayer.

It's a few moments early, but I need to go beddie bye, so here's the way to keep going for those who don't:
