In view of the fact that Holocaust Day is Tuesday,
let us pray that God's mercy will keep us
from such days of evil in the future.
Morning Devotional...He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.John 14:9
None but the Son of the Father could make such a claim.
He alone, who dwelt in the bosom of the Father, could fully declare--though in human form--the heart and the character of God. All that He said, all that He did, and all that He was, was a revelation of God to men.
Well might His disciples exclaim, "What manner of Man is this?"

Whose essence is concealed;

The heart of God revealed

Thank you Pat....Jesus is the infinite God-Man.
Fully God and fully man. I'm so glad that He is.
Soni...I found a picture of Sydney, my little granddaughter who is going to New Beginnings Christian School and memorizing scripture.

Love Ruthie ;)
Good Morning Pat.
Thank you for this devotional. It reminded me of the Athanasian Creed which I find absolutely decribes Our Lord Jesus.
"For the right faith is that we believe and confess: that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God is God and Man; God of the substance of the Father, begotten before the worlds: and man of the substance of His Mother, born in the world;Perfect God. and perfect Man: of a reasonable soul and human flesh subsisting;"

Good Morning Ruthie.
The Lord Bless You this day dear sister.
Jenny :D
Good Morning Jenny! Yes, Mum, I'm on my way... LOL
Here's another photo of little Sydney for Soni...

Hi Jenny....good to see you. Pat and I are still up. It is now12:55 a.m. and I am off to bed. You have a wonderful Lord's Day.
God Bless
Love Ruthie
Pat.
Go on then!!!
Ruthie too
Sleep tight ladies
YES!!! But first, I must say hello to Janice!
JANICE!!! I've missed you so much. Please keep in touch. I hope you are well.
Okay Jenny we're going!
Good night.
Ruthie
Hello from Janice. It's late but a few are still here. Just thought I would stick my head in the door and say hello.
Oh hi, Pat. you were posting while I was thinking!
I'm just so tickled to see you posting, Janice. I pray for you each day and for Earl. Thanks for coming in here tonight. Guess it's not that late where you are.
Janice, Goodmorning to you.
I will pop in later Pat. Going to have a word with Jesus now.
Oh thanks for the lovely hymn..."A Closer Walk with Thee". It's a favourite of mine.
Love Jenny
Speaking of "Janet", it will be so nice to have her home today from her diving vacation.
Sometimes I come in and read a little bit before going to bed, I have only had time to read NEM for today the 25th (however it is the 24th where I live). I just looked at the pictures of Sydney and Amber. What beautiful little girls, just precious. Hi Jenny.
I hope all of you friends here at CP are doing well.
Thank you for the prayers, Pat. We sure need them. Earl is OK as much as possible anyway. But I still have that pain that is so mysterious. And his sister who we look after, is in very poor health now. I don't think she will live long. We spend so much time with her.
Guess I will get on to bed, Sunday School time will be here before you know it! Bless you all.
Love, Janice

Personal Life: People Are What They Think About
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of
life.
--Proverbs 4:23
Every person is really what he or she secretly admires. If I can learn
what you admire, I will know what you are, for people are what they
think about when they are free to think about what they will.
Now, there are times when we are forced to think about things that we
do not care to think about at all. All of us have to think about
income taxes, but income taxes are not what we want to think about.
The law makes us think about them every April. You may find me humped
over Form 1040, just like everyone else, but that is not the real me.
It is really the man with the tall hat and the spangled stars in
Washington who says, "You can't let it go any longer!" I assure you it
is not consentingly done! But if you can find what I think about when
I am free to think about whatever I will, you will find the real me.
That is true of every one of us.
Your baptism and your confirmation and your name on the church roll
and the big Bible you carry--these are not the things that are
important to God. You can train a chimpanzee to carry a Bible. Every
one of us is the sum of what we secretly admire, what we think about
and what we would like to do most if we became free to do what we
wanted to do. Faith Beyond Reason, 96.
"Lord, You know the secret thoughts of my heart; nothing is hidden
from You. May those thoughts be pure thoughts, pleasing to You,
completely under the control of Your Holy Spirit. Amen."
Hi Janice ~ Great to see you posting. Like Pat, I have been praying for you and Earl and praying that all is well in your neck of the woods.
Hi Melaura ~ We miss our young bunch when they are away! HUrry back!
Well, so far...our winter storm watch isn't here. I am glad. I don't mind driving in snow but the first big snow...everyone is testing their old/new skills. Can get hectic out there.
My neck is a little tender. Different feeling than I had while it was really hurting. Probably because the doctor was in there doing his thing!!!
Well, I have about everything on this pc that I feel I need. PSP8 is fine. I love Windows XP. So easy to navigate and I really like the little information pop-up windows. Jerry and I put the old hard drive in the new pc but it didn't do right. So it is still in there but unplugged. I will get Kevin here to fix it right. ::) ::)?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`

Wonderful versr and song.
John leaves again today and Melaura has cadets tonight. I am so happy that drill doesn't interfear with church , if it did she wouldn't be able to participate.
Did Melaura tell you she made the drill team! ! ! She is so happy with this accomplishment.
Well our water is out, I just found out, and I still need to get ready for church.
Love to all
Judy
Good Morning, Princess Jenny. :)
I can't seen anyone else online right now.
Chris, a very good thought. "You are what you admire".
I think it was in the book The Purpose Driven Life, where Lewis is quoted as saying, " You don't see things as they are. You see things are you are."
I only know that the more we stay in the Word, spend time with Jesus, the clearer our vision becomes. Wouldn't it be wonderful to know that you saw things only as Christ sees them? My perception is so flawed, but His is perfect.
QuoteEvery person is really what he or she secretly admires. If I can learn
what you admire, I will know what you are, for people are what they
think about when they are free to think about what they will.
Thanks, Chris for your note on what we think about and that we are so fortunate that we are
free to think or admire anything. So much time can be wasted by admiring trivial things - and you words can help me do some
Spring Cleaning of the Brain.
I am refreshed daily by generous Grace!
Etta Sue: Nice that you have your computer all set and up to date. I like Windows XP also. Take care driving in your snow - I heard that springtime is just around the corner :D Hi to Jerry as well.
We have a heavy fog and debating whether to drive to church this morning - it may lift or, it could be worse up the road so we are kinda stuck here for now.
Carol
Good Morning, I am stopping in here for a few minutes before I get ready for church. I sure didn't want to get out of bed this morning, it is cold and I had the furnace turned off, which I do almost every night. I got up to let the dogs out and Happydog went sliding across the back porch. , as it was iced over. Now I have see about thawing the car windows before I go.
TTYL
HELLO, HELLO, HELLO!! I'm home!! And glad to be here, too. We drove home in really thick fog last night, it seemed to take forever to drive the last 70 miles.
Thanks for thinking of me, Pat and Sonja!! And any others who did (I haven't gone back to read all the posts yet.)
Chris, our pastor whom we loved and admired so much used to tell us often "You need to think about what you're thinking about!" That's what your devotional was saying, in different words. "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."
There seem to be some problems on the home front: My kids' dad is in the hospital and has been seriously ill. He is in Clayton, N.M. Must be where his doctor is; otherwise I don't know why he would have gone there. Also, Darrel's sister has been back in the hospital, and having problems. But things will work out, God is still in charge.
Curtis got my computer fixed, but I have to go to Hugoton to get it and bring it back home. I was so disappointed to walk in and not find it back on my desk last night. :-\ :'(
I am going back to see what's been happening in your lives while I've been away. Talk more later!

I am back home early from church, I was in so much pain in Sunday School that I could not even sit stil and just wanted to cry out loud "Help me Jesus". So I did that all the way home. My neck/back/shoulder/left arm.elbow/wrist hurt SOOOOO much, I will be so glad to see the chiropractor tomorrow morning.
I am going to get off now hurts too much.
TTYL
Thanks for the welcome home, Ria and Marilyn! Yes, we had a good time, but you know, there's no place like home! I probably won't be ready to go again for ...... well.........at least a week! ;) I took around 200 digital photos and 9 rolls of 24 exposure underwater photos, so, yes, surely a few of them will be good enough to share!
Now I am going to drive to Hugoton and get my computer!! How I have missed it!! And then I can download the digital photos and see what I have! Yippee!!
Patz, where are you today??
Hi, Meeks!! Love you! Good to see you had been in and posted while I was away.
Lots of news, but I will catch you up later. It has taken me nearly four hours to read all the posts just on NEM, and I haven't even looked at the other threads yet!! But I will........on MY computer!
well what a day this has turned out to be. I will start at church, we had a wonderful group of young men at church from Teen Challenge. The testimonies were awesome.
I left John at home to deal with the problems here. It started out with a simple problem of no water, or so we thought. That quickly evaporated into a hydro problem that left us with less than half power coming in on one line, and full power on the other. John called Hydro and they came and found that the wire going into the breaker, at the meter box had burned out taking with it the meter in the process. That initiated a call to an electritian and $1000 later we will have hydro back to full power on Wednesday. In the meantime we have a temporary hookup, to keep the essentials going.
John has to go to work and there is a meeting at church tonight that I will go to. Consider this from Bonesy and I together.
All our love
John and Judy
Janet!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite painter in the whole wide world. How was your trip? I got to hear everything that you did and went and heard and seen. ;D
Sorry you had to come back to illnesses in the family. :( I will be praying for them.

I hope you all post in New Every Morning![/b]
Hi everyone. It is a rainy and chilly day here in Georgia and we are probably on a line where some icing could occur, especially a little north of us. Our daughter started out to go to babysit with a friends children and got only a few miles and her car stopped. Fortunately she was close to the "Y" and called. I told her to wait a little while and see if her car would start, which it did and she came back home. We let her take one of our cars as her friend had to work at a new job and would probably lose it if she wasn't there to train. Her car was in the shop twice this last week and guess it will have to go back tomorrow. May have to mortgage the house to pay all the car repair bills.
Glad to see Janice posting and Janice, it sounds like you and Earl really have your hands full.
Janet, also great to see you posting and know that you have returned safely from your trip. Also glad you will be getting your computer back as once we get used to our own computers we really miss them when they are not available.
I had a lot more work to do on Pat's computer this morning and then after church as the installation of Windows 2000 apparently wiped out several different programs. Think I have them restored except she has lost all the old e-mails she had saved. My experience has been that I don't very often look back at old e-mails and I expect that may also be her situation, but can't say that to her. She knew there were some risks when we did the upgrade but for the most part everything came through well. I did download Eudora for her to use for e-mail and got it setup. For some reason I couldn't get Outlook to work and Outlook Express will not open links and attachments without taking extra steps.
JudyB, sorry to hear of your troubles with water and hydro. Glad you have temporary power and hope that means your water is available as well. With bonsey away on the road you certainly have major responsibilities.
Marilyn, hope you found some relief from the pain when you got home from church and that the chiropractor tomorrow will be able to help as well.
Ria, your postings today have been very colorful and I liked your graphic.
Judy, I don't know at this time if I will be posting any of the photos from the trip my son made to China. He said he had taken several and also had some video but wasn't sure how well they turned out. However, I will keep that in mind if I have the opportunity.
Pat has not been feeling so good yesterday afternoon and today as is feeling very tired. She didn't get up this morning until about 9 am and didn't feel up to going to church. I did go to church and we had a fine service. Our new minister will be with us next week and we are all looking forward to that occasion.
...and me Jenny. I am here too
Good night and God Bless you all
hello everyone,
I'm BACK we won our first game down there and lost our second our guys won the tounament. we are back home. my family and i got in about 2 am this morning. i'm gonna go to catch up on here
TTYL
Sarah
Here I am again. I am still hurting just a s much as when I came home, I have tried to ignore it. Put in a load of laundry and reviewed my taxes online found some errors and decided to file on line with the help of Turbo Tax. Got that done.
I baby sat last night for the g-kids at their house. The kids have a gust that has 5 yes 5 Coon hounds and another very large Lab-Timberwolf mix. The houds are all staked out in Gilbert;'s yard and Happydog sees them from the window and is going absolutely crazy barking and carrying one something fierce.
The guy lives in Truckee and had been over east of us here hunting Bear. He lets the dogs loose to hunt down the Bear , tree the Bear and then calls off the dogs and lets the Bear go. Pretty interesting stories he has to tell.
TTYL
Good afternoon from rainy Nashville, Tennessee. We did have a nice shower while ago but it has stopped for now. We have had a good day. Church and Bible classes this morning. This afternoon we had a nice walk in the neighborhood. We are getting ready now to go to the evening services.
Marilyn, we are sorry you are feeling so bad. Pain isn't any fun. I like the NIV translation of Jabez' prayer:
1 Chr 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request. (NIV)
I hope you all have a good evening.

Psalms 103:8-10
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever,
he doesn not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
Pat: Thanks again for the devotional.
Sonifo: A good Psalm to post this evening.
Papa John: Good to see you.
Marilyn: Pain is no fun and I will pray that it will be gone real soon.
Listening to the evening weather we are in a storm watch situation, lots of snow by mid to late tomorrow afternoon. To say the least I already have had enough of winter.
God Bless
Ruth
WEll folks I am going to watch a movie and go to bed. I have an early start tomorrow and need my rest.
Soni
Marilyn: You are mending quickly - I hope that you can get control of this pain as well.
Larry: It sounds like your daughter has a lemon of a car so do hope that she can trade it in for something more reliable - no one needs endless repair payments. Tell Pat that I wish her well and do hope that she feels better soon.
Judy: So sorry to hear about your huge expense for power and water problems. It sounds like things are difficult to fix in your area and the costs do keep rising. You have such a good and healthy outlook toward the trials of everyday life - must be your sweet faith showing to everyone.
Carol
Larry - I hope Pat is feeling better tonight. Please tell her that I was asking.
Judy B: - Oh gosh.. thats so much $$ to have to pay out right after Christmas. I hope your water and hydro problems are fixed now for good!
Marilyn: Trust your pain is better. Do you think that perhaps you are "pushing t" too much...after having surgery. Take it easy. We don't want you back in the hospital.
Janet: Welcome Home. I've missed you. I'm sorry to hear that some of your family are sick. What about Beth...have you talked to her since coming home? How is she doing?
Janice: Its SO GOOD seeing you here....Whats the weather doing in your neck of the woods?
Yippee, goody, wahooo, and other exclamations of joy!! I have my very own computer back, and it is faster, too!!
We went to Liberal to Wal-Mart and got the underwater pictures developed, (Lots of $$) and I am so disappointed. Very few of them are really good. It seems the light wasn't aimed properly or something. I guess I will chalk it up to experience. Or lack of.........
Then we stopped back by the kids' and Jeff had just rented a Western movie, so we watched that with them, picked up the computer and came home. Everything is working great except the speakers. The light is on, but no sound...... 8) ??? :-\ :-\ :-\??
Sonja, I will tell you about the trip later. I am tired, and you have already gone to bed. I'm also hungry, guess I need to go eat a bite.
But I am going to see what my digital pictures look like tonight, and HOPE they are not as disappointing as the underwater ones.
Thanks for the welcome home!!! I love them!
Thanks for the devotional Pat. I have been ill the past two days and not on the computer very much.
Sorry about your pain Marilyn. Hope tomorrow will be a better day.
Nice to see you back Janet. Hope you will post lots of pictures as my computer can now view them.
I can't get to church easily and am still worrying about how to solve the problem. Not able to go at the moment and so not doing anything to resolve this. The move was so stressful that my body is rebelling!!
The weather is not great at the moment. More rain and possible snow in the forcast. Very chilly outside and happy to be safe and warm in here. The dampness in the air makes the lower temps. worse. Not cold by Prairie standards....
So nice to see everyone posting and it is a real blessing for this person. I always feel better after a visit here. God Bless and pleasant dreams. Liz.
Oh, Janet, I'm so sorry that you're disappointed with your photos. Been there done that after a big trip and it's not a nice feeling for sure!
Going to go and work on the new topic for tomorrow but thought we might sing together while I do it.
When They Ring Those Golden Bells (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/goldbell.mid)
(Click to hear music)
There's a land beyond the river that we call the sweet forever
And we only reach that shore by faith, you see
Yes I want to see my Jesus
Shake His hand and have Him greet us
When they ring those golden bells for you and me.
Don't you hear the bells a - ringin'
Can't you hear the angels singin'
It's a glory hallelujah jubilee
In the far off great forever just beyond the shining river
When they ring those golden bells for you and me.
When our days have known their number
When in death we sweetly slumber
When the Kingdom mends the spirit to be free
There'll be no more stormy weather
We'll live peacefully together
When they ring those golden bells for you and me.
Don't you hear the bells a - ringin'
Can't you hear the angels singin'
It's a glory hallelujah jubilee
In the far off great forever just beyond the shining river
When they ring those golden bells for you and me
When they ring those golden bells for you and me.

Hi Liz...
I'm sorry about your stress and your difficulty meeting with the Lord's people. I'll pray for you especially with this in mind in the coming days.
I just got through watching the coolest movie. "Remembering the Titons" It is the best show I have seen in a while. No cusing. Now that is hard to come by these days. My son Troy recommended it. It actually got me jumping off the couch and also crying.
You got to rent it!
Hi Pat! (((hug)))
I am off to bed now.

Hi Soni!
