What a slow day!

Here we are still on Page 2 at the end of our day.  I sure hope that more folks come on before it's time to lock the door.

I'm here!  Hello all of you

Bern and Karma - My love and congratulations to you both, and to wee Travis as well.

How old will Travis be when his new sibling arrives?

We will be praying for you Karma, that all will go well, that you won't be bothered by the heat this summer.

I don't think I posted this before, but the other night when Norm and I were sitting out fron on our porch, (it was about 7:pm)., and still quite light, two very brazen racoons were sauntering along, like they owned the street, tipping over neighbours' garbage containers.  Norm got his spade out, and banged it on the tin can, thinking that would scare them away... no siree...the were so tame, and hardly looked up!

About ten minutes later, we heard "CLLOMP CLOMP CLOMP".,  and down the street, just taking her time, was a huge deer.  Now, this is a fairly active subdivision, no close fields or ravines, and to where she was going, I had no idea.

What a beautiful sight that was though.  Several neighbours were sitting out just as we were, but of course, nobody had a camera on them.....isn't that always the way?

Well, thats about all the news I have to report....after seeing all that "wildlife"., I said to Norm., "well, now I'm waiting for the BEARS to come out!...LOL

Oh wow, Judy.  We see raccoons occasionally, but it is mostly groundhogs, 'possums and skunks. 

Travis will have turned three just before the baby is due.

Janet - I was a couple of days behind in reading your post.

I was so interested to read of your friend's wedding attire...of the purple and red!   She obviously belongs to the 'RED HATTERS SOCIETY" as do I!!

I have been unable to find that complete poem that you mention...would you know where I can read it?   I'd sure love to be able to print it out.

Wednesday, I have been invited to take part in a program at our local Seniors' Centre.  The head lady, we call her "THE QUEEN MOTHER" IS GIVING A TALK, , and she has asked me to go along, I am to wear my red hat, and purple dress (should be quite a sight...thats for sure)!
