Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I'm sorry I may not have given thanks here (though I did in church and I think from the rooftops as well) that my mother's shingles were totally cleared up in a very short time.  And with none of the lingering residual pain that so many seem to get.  Considering her age and the fact that she's not really very strong physically, this can only be attributed to answered prayer.  :o

Now to check and see how many people I've missed welcoming.   :(

I'm sorry to say, Pat, we were doing other things, and didn't take photos this weekend.  These are some I had taken before, but I do have a couple of Curtis among them! ;D  You will see my guy!

Thanks Jeanne, for letting us know about your mother.  (You'll just have to drop in here more often!)

I know how that is, Janet, when you are so busy with other stuff and don't take photos.  Happens to me a lot!

Well, see you later!

We had a wonderful service this morning. After church two other ladies and myself went to the local Chinese Resturant for lunch, I had sweet and sour pork. Delicious. We sat and visited for a bit after we were done eating. The landlords are still here working on their stuff out side, they built a shed for their compressor and she is in here right now putting new screws in the curtain rods that fell off the wall the other day.
Well I will be back later.

Hello everyone.  What a wonderful evening!  I went with my mom and took the kids to the park.  It was lovely weather, and the kids enjoyed their outing.  It was just really nice.

Pat

What park, Jen?  Sounds like a nice time for sure!

Good evening everyone:
I have enjoyed reading all of the posts and thanks Pat or the devotional and hymn as well.
It was a day of devotion and reflection before getting ready for work tomorrow.

Well Here is another family that had a wondrerful evening.  We had a hymn sing  :o at church with everyone calling out their favourites. Memories of hymn sings at the church I grew up in! !  :)  The old favourites like The Old Rugged Cross, There is Power in the Blood, Dare to be a Daniel, Jesus Loves Me, and many others.  Our Pastor had three books he looked in to find the history of some of the Hymns we sang.  What a wonderful time we all had and the groans that went up from the children because we had to close was enlightening to everyone.  It isn't just the oldies the like the hymns of the faith the children do as well. :D  They just need the exposure.  :D
It is 9:30 time the girls were in bed, so I will seeyou later.

Judy

Pat to answer the question you asked me earlier, I am still working on becoming smoke free.Today I am smoke free. A lady at church who is also struggling gave me  half of her Commit Lozenges that she bought, They sure do work good. I will be victorious over this habit. I have spoken to the mountain and it will be removed. Enuf said, one day at a time, like I said for today I am smoke free. Not counting any days,Just one day at a time.

Pinkie you sure got the hang of using the move and glow and all that stuff. Again welcome to CP.
