JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Nards ~ You crack me up!  Who was to know that the quiet, demure man that stayed at my house...Karma and Travis was here, too....was this funny man that is showing up on CP?

Marilyn ~ I am praying that Happy Dog is fine.

Janet ~ I don't know about replacing the dirt but once this sod farmer gets the sod that he wants off of a field, he plants it in soy beans.  Then that crop is harvested.  Then he plants it in wheat.  At, least that is what he has done to the field behind Ivalou's house.  I really don't know how soon he cuts sod again from the same field.  But I do know that the soy beans and wheat puts nutrients back in the field.  All I know is when the field is sod, it is a beautiful field.  No weeds and a luscious, beautiful green.

Liz ~ I think it is wonderful that Miss Squeeks allows you to sit in HER chair once in a while.

Alma ~ Sounds like you like to keep busy with work and family.  I agree with you in the "Good as New" bible.  I intended for 'bible' to be a lowcase 'b'.  Only the true Bible should be capitalized.

Sarah ~ So you are off again!  Ah, the joys of being a teenager!!

Chris ~ Neat photos with scripture.

Sue ~ Happy to see you back home but sad to hear your van didn't make it yet.  Car problems can be so frustrating...something like pc problems.  Hope to see pictures from your vacation soon.

Yesterday in Indiana.  I uninstalled Nero 4 and installed Nero 6.  That didn't work.  Then Jerry and I changed positions of my E drive and my D drive.  The user guide for the CD-re-writer showed the D drive above the E drive...therefore the flexstrip was D, E and then the mother board.  That didn't fix the Re-writer.  So we went to Jerry's home in Pendleton.  He is building himself and pc and we brought back his Re-writer.  We installed it in my pc and IT WORKED!!!!!   So the conclusion is....my re-writer is damaged/broke/kaput!  OR my re-writer is not compatible with Windows XP. Anyway, I went to Tiger Direct.com and ordered myself a new Re-writer.  Thought about a DVD/CD-Rewriter but then decided to stick with just a CD-rewriter since I don't have a DVD player.

I also purchased a new Cat Fishing Pole toy.  The old one the girls had lost its elasticity in the line.  You would have thought these two cats were in Cat Heaven.  They love it.  Most of the time, one of them is laying on the fishing pole...I guess so it won't get away.  But they love it.  Good exercise for Ali...she is getting sooooo big!  Well, Inky is getting big, too, but she is suppose to since she is only about 8 months old now.

Today in Indiana.  First, I fixed some Mashed Potato Salad.  I never thought that was unusual but a lot of people haven't had Potato Salad made with mashed potatoes.  That is the only way I know to fix Potato Salad.  Then Tony called and said he was going to bring a load of rocks again today.  Jerry and I moved a Peony bush.  That bush was in the same spot it was when I was a kid...used to be behind the Milk House.  Now the Milk House has been gone for years so we had a walk to the garage with two Peony bushes on one side.  Now there is a Peony bush on each side of the walk.  I also went to the Dollar General and found the cutest outdoor ornaments.  A Fat Cat, a Fat Pig and a Fat Dog.  They are cute.  Then Tony came.  The mailman delivered a big box that I had ordered 7 more whimsical ornaments for my yard.  Before Tony left, I asked him if he wanted some potato salad.  He wanted to know if I already had a large bowl for him.  Well, yes.  (I did give him more that I was wanting to give him...)   Then Jerry and I put together all my new whimzies.  Check them out [/b]here.  Two more loads of rocks and we are done with the landscaping.

Jerry and I both tired.

This pc is running sooooo s l o w!  Need to reboot!

Nice devotional and stress is certainly very real to most all of us.  Even believers!

Sorry about your car, Pat.  That also must have made for a disappointing day after all the lovely plans.  Hope the costs will be reasonable.

Glad Happydog is doing well, Marilyn.  That must be a big relief.  How come Jenny doesn't post any longer?  She is missed...

Had a busy day and went grocery shopping, made dinner for the kids. etc.  This has been a bright and sunny day here on the island.  We didn't get the promised rain and things keep getting more dry by the minute.

Here is a little joke:

The poor country pastor was livid when he confronted his wife with the receipt for a $250.00 dress she had bought.  "How could you do this?!"  he demanded.
"I don't know," she cried, "I was standing in the store looking at the dress.  Then I found myself trying it on.  It was like the Devil was whispering to me, "Gee, you look great in that dress.  You should buy it."

"Well, the pastor persisted, "You know how to deal with him! Just tell him, Get Behind Me, Satan."

"I did," replied his wife.  "He said, 'You look great from here too."

Ahhhh!  Pleasant dreams all and God Bless.
