JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Sounds like a great place to go.  I cannot imagine being in the Redwood Forest!  What an awesome thing those trees must be to see.
We are lucky and have no tornado watches here.  I hope all of the tornados are over.  We are in dire need of rain here where I live.
Have a great evening!

Thank you Pat for that lovely song "Burdens are lifted at Calvary"   I have talked to John Moore many times.  He is a great Christian who lives what he preaches.

Last night there was an electrical storm and the computer went off.   I then left it off for the rest of the night.  Today we had more rain.   I think we've had enough.   The grass is nice and green.

I had to call our Internet Service Provider again yesterday.  They came out today, and found a bad connection.  This makes four times they have been out, so I sure hope this fixes our problem.  It was just blinking on and off, very annoying!

I hope all of you have a quiet and peaceful night and get a really good sleep--myself included!

School is getting out in our area this week.  I think Abby's last day is Thursday.  Sarah has already been out for a few days.

See you all tomorrow--until then, here is a grin for you.

WHEN I was 28, I was teaching English to high school freshmen in a school where occasionally the faculty and staff were allowed to dress down. One of those days I donned a sweatshirt and slacks. A student came in and his eyes widened. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "You should wear clothes like that every day. You look twenty, maybe even thirty years younger!"

That song "Till the Storm Passes By" is so wonderful.   Thanks Pat.   I was listening to it while reading Papa John's scripture.   Praise God for His Word.

Yesterday my son Shawn picked up new patio furniture for me in his truck.  The table is 5 ft in diameter.  It was sticking out of the truck, but Shawn had a ratchet strap around it, good and tight.  He told me not to worry it wouldn't fall out on the road.    When we got the furniture home, Shawn then proceeded to put in together and then it started to rain.  What a hoot, we were soaking wet and Shawn insisted on finishing the job.  After the table and chairs and umbrella were all up, I put his clothes in the dryer and gave him a hot drink and some food.  Then he went home to Keswick, an hours drive away.   I love that boy!  He is such a sweetheart!

HAHAHAHA!  That's so funny, Ruthie.  I'd love to see Shawn again.  Yes, not quite the weekend for an outdoor BBQ.
