Morning Devotional...The goat shall bear upon Him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited...Leviticus 16:22
When men had done their worst against the Man of Sorrows, God drew the sackcloth shroud around that scene that none should behold the ultimate woe.
The torment of that precious body was but the vestibule of anguish to the infinite dark. There the pains of hell laid hold on Him.
There the sinless One became the target of God's fierce judgment against our sin.
From there, the "land not inhabited" echoed with the cry,
"My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"Is it any wonder we bow to worship Him?
--J. Boyd Nicholson
The Holy One did hide His face;
O Christ, 'twas hid from Thee!
Dumb darkness wrapt Thy soul a space,
The darkness due to me,
But now that face of radiant grace
Shines forth in light on me.
Hahaha she didn't boot me! Fooled her ya think?
This am is Eli's dedication. Afterward is his one year birthday party. Time has flown.
Be praying for us and our church. A young lady who's religion is wicka, is coming to the dedication. Pray that the Lord will reach her.
Well it is after midnight. I need to go to bed and get some rest. I don't think I will have any trouble sleeping tonight. LOL
God bless you as you praise and worship our Lord.

Oh dear... I posted such a long message to go here., and when I hit "post"., I got the message that this was "locked" or something....what did I do wrong?
JUDY Mc... You didn't do anything "wrong" you just happen to be the latest victim of PAT's "slam-the-door-in-your-face" syndrome! :P Don't feel badly ... it's happened to several of us and will, most likely, happen again from time to time... Join the club!
Hi Judy--
Sorry about your daughter not feeling well, we will pray for her.
I just came by to say goodnight to all of you-and say that I am praying for each of you.
Pat I hope that your feeling better too.

Good nite ladies.
I want to say thanks to ya'll who replied about the ape/darwin thing.
I will keep those in my favorite and make my own website on the theory, and what i believe. So if someone ask me again I won't get so tongued tied.
I have been busy doing laundry and cleaning most of the day. We moved some furniture around. Fun...it feels good to know the underside of things are clean too.
Rachelle~sounds like you had a fun time with your daughter. I think we need that special one-on-one with each of our kids to having a healthy family. My favorite thing to do with my 4 5 year old is go to Perkins and have coffee and fries. We like to color the pictures they give us. ;D
I think I will do some work on my website then off to beddy by for me.
Night all!
Oh... Thanks for explaining that Jane...haha., my message wasn't all that important... just letting you all know why we were away in Michigan for the past 4 days.
I also wanted to tell Iain how much his postings mean't to me...and to please keep on posting. I always read them., sometimes several times. There is always so much "good reading Iain"!!
Papa J" You are sounding so much better!... PTL! - doctors may say "you are lucky"., but we know... its the Lord who healeth!

Sonja..........
As we all know, regardless of what we tell people about Jesus and their personal salvation, they just won't believe, and all the evidence you give them just doesn't seem to help. It's similar to the man in the Psyco ward who kept telling the doctor he was dead. The doctor told him he was alive. The man insisted he was dead. So the doctor took him downstairs to the morgue and raised a cadaver's hand and pricked a finger, and said: "See, no blood". The doctor did this once every week for four weeks, and always said: See, no blood". On the fifth week the doctor went in to see the patient, and asked him, well are you alive or dead? The man replied" "I'm dead." So the doctor took the man's hand and pricked it with a pin and as the blood came forward, the patient said: "Well I'll be, the dead do bleed." ;)
IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO GO TO BED

HOURS I AM GOING TO CHURCH

I looked at your website-how can I get started with building a website with this company? how much does it cost?
Thanks
Rachelle
By the way-you have some great photos there..love your site.
Well, since my post got left behind the door last night I will repeat my lesson ... I'm an English teacher so y'all need to pay attention! Ahem... ::)
The apostrophe is used to indicate the omission of a letter or letters... Thusly: You all ... with the omission of the vowels becomes y'all. Therefore the correct (?) contraction is y'all, all y'all or all y'alls! Gottit? Getit. Good. ;) :)
Okay, okay...I'm going. :P 8) :-\

It is finally getting daylight. In fifteen minutes, Jerry and I need to leave for church. Today is my day to work in God's building. I am manning the lights. Jerry will do the tape recordings with my help as well. Will be a blessful morning.
I don't know what this afternoon will bring. Going to be a busy week since I am providing the snacks for Tuesday's Small Group meeting. I don't cook...I dust my cooking stove. ;D :D No, I do cook...but not much. Cheaper to eat out sometimes.

Good morning everyone. We are going to have another beautiful day here in Tennessee. Right now it is 51 degrees but will get back up to 80 this afternoon.
I'm looking forward to our worship after while. To be with our church family for prayer, singing, listening to God's word, giving of our means as God has prospered us, taking the bread and fruit of the vine in memory of Jesus who died for us --- this enriches our lives and strengthens our faith.
Heb 10:23-25
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

I got this as an email today and thought many would be interested in it. Many of us don't drink enough water, I know I don't. Check it out.
Water Anyone?
==============
We all know that water is important, but I've never seen it
written down like this before.
75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
(This likely applies to half of the world population)
In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is
often mistaken for hunger.
Even MILD dehydration will slow down metabolism as much as 3%.
One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost
100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day
could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of
sufferers.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term
memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the
computer screen or on a printed page.
Drinking 5 glasses of water daily, decreases the risk of colon
cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by
79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
Do you need to know the exact amount of water that you should
drink each day for your body weight? Click this link for the

Thanks Pat. I have quickly read thro' all the posts and must hurry to get ready for church. So glad that you are posting again Papa John. It really helps.
Cold here also Ria. Sky is grey...no rain and that makes my trip to church more pleasant.
Someone is coming this afternoon to view my Condo. An offer was made by another person but much to low. Not a firesale!!! I don't like doing business on Sunday but Realtors don't seem to know the difference. Most people working and might not be able to come during the week. So I am off...have a great day and God Bless.
I am late getting here this morning, Stayed in bed until the house warmed up aftewr I got up to turn theheater on.
First of all JudyB my dogs cannot possibly be hungry, they have food in the bowls all the time and I give them plenty of snacks in between, doggie cookies etc.
Thanl you Pat and Papa John for the devotional this morning.
Good news this morning I am no longer a smoker.
Must go now, got a call from the other greeter she is sick I have to go to get things ready and lead our prayer group too.

Good morning from rainy Coos Bay. Just a short hello before I finish dressing for church. I see others are either going, gone or have returned from....
Judy, I know all of what you posted about water, but it's a good reminder. I push water a lot around here. :) One thing that I know......if I buy bottled spring water, my grandaughter will go for water every time over sugar drinks. Especially those of us who are seniors need to remember to drink water before we feel thirsty. Our thirst mechanisms don't work as well and by the time we feel thirst we are actually dehydrated. So......drink pure water.......take good care of this temple. :D :D
Have a blessed day everyone. Nita
QuoteGood news this morning I am no longer a smoker.

5.45 p.m. England.
RIAIf you check back, the Lord put the words to "Count Your Blessings" onto my heart this morning before your posting re your hymn in church., The Holy Spirit is in control..Amen!
Water Aid All this talk of water...this very day I have been telling my son that this year I intend giving a gift to Water Aid at Christmas. This charity is wonderful, gives money to villages to enable them to buy the tools and dig their own wells. Thus to grow their own crops and feed their families. I find myself thanking God so often for the gift of water. The wonderful inventions of pipes and taps (fawcetts). We take these things for granted. So many in the Third World cannot afford even bottled water!!! (No offence meant folks, I use it myself at times).
Marilyn I am glad you are a non-smoker!
PatAre you getting checked out by that doctor? I hope so. Report in here, we are all concerned about you.
Margit God willing this is only a cold, not the flu. Take care darling, get well soon. Nice to see Chris having a go! That will shut him up....Ha Ha!
Papa John Praise God for you, here today for us.
I will say Goodnight to you all now although I realise it's about 1 p.m. in Canada isn't it?
Love and prayers.
Jenny.
I just had a very disturbing phone call.
My neighbour, Larry, who I drove over 60 times to Hamilton for his various treatments is now in hospital here in Guelph. Poor Diane spent the whole day with him in the emergency yesterday and after doing tests, they've found as many as 7 tumors on his liver. In just a week, he's lost so much weight.
Please remember Diane and Larry in your prayers. They sure need the Saviour at this time. I don't know how people can go through this without having our Heavenly Father to call on. I'm sorry but all of this has brought back vividly my last few months with Jack and how I appreciated Larry's help during that time and since that time.
It's sad. He doesn't know my Saviour and I'm praying about that.
Pati keep Diana and Larry in my prayers
Marilyngongratulations no smoking more
i smoke sometimes when i am nervous but now i am
making a lot Christmass and Birthdays cards or i am
busy in house when i am doing something then i also not smoke also not when i am on the computer i hope i also can say about a short time i am no smoker
Sometimes there are coming friends and one has problems with his lung then i am not smoking the hole

Rachelle where are you living you may hold the snow there i don't like that.
But it is cold in Holland we also have on our winter jackets when we go outsite.
But i think your children love the snow.
It is 7.55PM here i wish you all a good afternoon evening and also a goodnight. But when you in Canada and America starting the night then it is in Europe morning
Bye
Till tomorrow
Ria
Lord God remember Larry and his wife, please bring a great conviction of sin upon them both ,that they might cry out to You for Salvation, for we know that You will abundantly save,
amen.
Chris - I really am enjoying the message on James. Thanks for sending the tape thro cyber space here. This tape is the clearest I have ever heard!! I had not heard of Dr. Reid before!
Pat - I am so sad for Larry and Diane., and no doub this is bringing back all what you went through almost 3 years ago!!. Larry was a real help to you Pat., but YOU have been a wonderful friend to Diane as well. Please keep us notified as to his condition, Pat.
Rachelle: Its always too early to have snow as far as I'm concerned...
Marilyn: Congratulations!!! - Isn't it wonderful to be able to say., and to ask for 'NON SMOKING' WHEN YOU GO INTO A RESTAURANT.... here in Ontario, most of our restaurants are non smoking....its wonderful!!
I feel like I have been to Seminary this weekend! First, the great seminar we had on Doorways to Deception all day yesterday, then this morning the pastor had a good teaching on the covenants of the Old Testament, compared to the New Covenant. He gave us a test! :-\ He said it is a lot more fun to give tests than to take them, so he had fun! ;D Of course, after his teaching, we could figure out the answers on the test.
It is COLD here in Kansas today. Brrrrrr!! But still no rain, and this is the third day it's been "promised."
I had a sleepless night, so I think a nap is on my agenda for this afternoon.
Good to see all of you today! :D :D :D
MARILYN, I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!! GOOD FOR YOU!!
Pat Thanks for this mornings devotional but I to am so sorry to hear about your neighbor I will be praying for them and yourself as well.
Lee I liked what you said, no blood you are dead, blood I am alive.
Marilyn Congrats.
We to have rain and clouds.
Have a great day Ruth
Hi everyone.
Chris, like you I had to go to Sunday School and Church alone this morning as Pat isn't feeling up to par. Just one of her fibromyalgia cycles but she just didn't have the energy to go. We did have a good, if very long service. It was a combined service and we had both contemporary and traditional music, celebrated communion and had a litany of dedication for our stewardship campaign. It was so nice to see the church full. Afterwards there was a luncheon in our fellowship hall but I did not stay as don't like to go to those types of things without Pat.
Pat, so sorry to hear the decline of your friend Larry and know this is so hard for you to go through again. We can only pray that he will accept Jesus Christ before it is too late. I should think facing the end without the knowledge that you are saved would be so difficult.
Rachelle, sorry to read that you are still fighting that cold. It is hard for me to relate to the snow as it is so warm here today we have the house open this afternoon and it is nice and sunny.
Marilyn, congratulations on successfully fighting your smoking habit. I know it has been a battle for you but this is the result you were seeking. It will also had the benefit of being like a raise in pay as well as a boost to your health.
Jenny, having water is something we just take for granted and your gift sounds very worthy. Nita, I remember that my grandmother just didn't like water and really had to fight with herself to drink water. I love water and especially ice.
Liz, you are getting a lot of traffic on your condo in a very short time. That certainly must be a good sign and the right buyer will come along. Of course, I understand the hassle of having to have your house ready for showing everyday. We have sold several homes over the years and it was always a strain.
Etta Sue, I can't visualize you not being a good cook and know you will be making something very good for your group Tuesday night. It is nice to read that Jerry is back doing the taping of your church services.
Lee, how about giving us a little line for each letter of the missing words in your hymn titles. I don't have a clue on this one.
yeah, Lee....we need some letters!! ;)
Home from church a little while ago, I have been over in the prayer folder praying for some of the needs.
Today we are having a Pastor Appreciation potluck a little later today so I will be going there.
It feels wonderful to be able to say that I am not a smoker, I just had to tell you all the news first thing this morning. The Wellbutrin is doing what it is supposed to do, not only being the anti-depressant Ineeded but I love the side effect of taking away all the craving for cigarettes. Not one iota of withdrawal pangs. No Desire.

Ok all you Baptists I invite you to me in the Pentecostal Happydance
Pat thanks for the Morning Devotional. I am hopeful you are feeling better. :) :)
You continue to give of yourself for others, not only on this site but your neighbors as well. We will pray for your very sick neighbor.
My #51 message on Saturday brought some instructions in the English usage of "you all". ;D
Thanks to Jane Walker and Karmet. I did enjoy your response.
Karmet tried to teach me that "all ya'll" refers to more than 8. She may be correct. :) :)
YAWL have by now figured out that "I am as dumb as a polecat in a bucket of grits". ;D ;D
While in School I was asked to name the 4 Seasons, I gave the answer "Onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic." :)
Have a good evening (and night for those in different time zones)
Remember God wants us to have a joyful heart, and if you do that you will have a smile on your face. :)

Wonderful Grace of Jesus (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/Wonderfl.mid)
(Click to hear music)
"The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you."
Romans 16:20
Words and music by Haldor Lillenas
Wonderful grace of Jesus,
Greater than all my sin;
How shall my tongue describe it,
Where shall its praise begin?
Taking away my burden,
Setting my spirit free;
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.
Refrain
Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus,
Deeper than the mighty rolling sea;
Wonderful grace, all sufficient for me, for even me.
Broader than the scope of my transgressions,
Greater far than all my sin and shame,
O magnify the precious Name of Jesus.
Praise His Name!
Wonderful grace of Jesus,
Reaching to all the lost,
By it I have been pardoned,
Saved to the uttermost,
Chains have been torn asunder,
Giving me liberty;
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.
Refrain
Wonderful grace of Jesus,
Reaching the most defiled,
By its transforming power,
Making him God's dear child,
Purchasing peace and heaven,
For all eternity;
And the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.
Refrain

Thank you for all your kind comments about my dear friend, Larry and his wife Diane. We're just about the same age and she has said that no one understand like I do just what they are going through. I told her that "No one understands like Jesus." She knows that she can phone me at any time of the day or night if she wants someone to talk to.
Hello, everybody! God really is so good, you know. I'm so glad to hear Marilyn has kicked the old habit :)
Not a lot to say, but I would really appreciate it if you guys and gals would pray for wisdom for me. There's some really heavy things I'm having to deal with and make decisions about right now, and I need God's guidance and direction to be clear.
Love all of ya!

I meant to hit modify, but I'm in a hurry. :P
Let me explain. I find it
funny because it is such a blatant imitation. For him to take the time to do that, ours must have annoyed him to some degree, or something. I have always held the opinion that if Christianity annoys or angers someone, it has hit a nerve. At the very least, we caused him to make a public stand. :-*
I'll go and look, Karma. Has he posted recently?
I hope I can figure out how to find one of his posts! LOL
Found it, Karma!

;D
As Karma would say "that's a hoot". ;D ;D
It seems that a lot of churches had like events today. Our church had soup/stew luncheon after the services. But Jerry and I had Mexican.
This '40 Days of Purpose' is really moving in our church. Last week we had a baptism, this week another. It was standing room only during the second service. I don't realize how many people are there until I am working the lights from the mezzanine and look 'down' on all the people! We also had 6 people come forward today and accept Christ. God is good!!!
I was so tired today that I dropped Jerry off and headed home. I turned on the TV when I got here and promptly took a nice nap. I feel much better today.
Larry, I can cook but I don't much because of being by myself so much. But I am fixing Party Mix, Zucchini Bread, Sausage Balls and Candy Corn. Also taking Hawaiian Toasted Coconut Creme coffee for the coffee drinkers. The other drinks are furnished by the hosts of the small group meeting. That should be enough.
Marilyn ~ Congratulations! You being a non-smoker reminded me again of the sign in front of a church in Pendleton...'Where will you spend eternity? Smoking or non-smoking?'
Pat and Rachelle ~ I spent about 4 hours yesterday just doing the Flying Santa on PSP! These are so time consuming. I love it when they are done but mind-boggling. I kept losing layers and had to do them again. :'( :'( I saw you both signed up for lessons in February, 2004. Not me, I think I am done with lessons...they really stress me out!! :'( :'(
Off to see what else is going on.

"Let them praise
thy great and terrible name;
for it is holy."
Psalm 99:3
All hail King Jesus,
All hail Emmanuel
King of Kings,
Lord of Lords,
Bright Morning Star.
And throughout eternity,
I'll sing Your Praises,
And I'll reign with You
throughout eternity.

So many posts to read. Pat, I will certainly pray for your friends Larry & Diane. Also for you Bernard. That is really a nice name!
Congrats. Marilyn. I stopped smoking in 1970, before becoming a Christian. Was a 2-3 pack a day, chain smoker. We could smoke in the office and stress level was high in the Computer Field. I had two kids to support and had to quit...Chewed some terrible tasting gum and kept peppemints in strategic spots all over the computer room and office. Quit cold turkey, as they say. Spent a year beating the craving and took long walks up a big hill with my poodle. She would get exhausted and have to be carried home. Horrible business, but have never smoked since.
Wonderful news to report. The people who put in the low offer on my Condo came back with the full amount of my asking price. I had prayed this morning and asked God if selling was the right thing and if so to please have the people coming or the people who were here, to pay all but $500.00 of my asking price. Then I would feel it was right! Came home to find a message from my Realtor with the above result. Will be signing the papers in a couple of hours as it is a done deal. Praise God for his goodness and thanks to all of you who have had this on their prayer list. I will have until Jan.02/04 to vacate and the deal will be final on Dec.30/03. Al is not going to be with us that long...he is growing weaker each day. So God is being very gracious in this area also. We don't want him to suffer and this way I will still be here for him....
You have become a dear family to me and I want you to know that your prayers have been heard and God is answering. Our young pastor is taking his family to Africa soon and will be working in an area without any facilities for comfort. His message was about how great a tragedy it is for a country or people, to be without Jesus in their life. That Jesus is Life. How very true. We can only trust that God will protect them and they will be able to bring his word to the people in such a way that it will continue after they leave.
Long post, must go. God Bless.
Hi, friends,
I've just returned from vacation in Atlanta. While there I had difficulty accessing the site.
Today at church in Atlanta, a most wonderful thing occurred. Jennifer (a twin, who took the baby's birth photos) recently found The Lord as her Saviour because of the influence of Pam in her life. Today, Jennifer brought her twin sister Jamie to church. She also gave her heart to the Lord.
AND, their parents had never EVER attended church, met me after the worship service and gave me big hugs, and said they'd be BACK!
Each one win one - what a concept!!!
Ruth Ann
What lovely news, Ruth Ann... It's so wonderful to hear about the Shepherd seeking and finding one of His own, isn't it? I'm so happy that they will attend church again as well. Just such sweet news.
Guess our little chorus is even more meaningful...
These two now can really sing, All Hail King Jesus!
Marilyn.........
I didn't want to post this until you had stopped smoking. I smoked for 35-years, and smoked two packs a day plus my pipes which were sticking out of my mouth almost from dawn to bedtime. In 1978 I finally asked myself if I really wanted to emulate a smoke-stack? No, I didn't. Did I want to stink so much? No, I didn't. MY clothes smelled, my hair smelled, my moustach smelled, and my breath smelled. So I said that's it, threw away the pack and haven't touched them since. It's simply a matter of truly wanting to quit. All mental. When I had my heart operation my cardiologist told me that had I still been smoking I'd be dead. CONGRATULATIONS
JudyB.............
Read your link, printed it, and saved it. Forwarned is forarmed.
;DTHIS IS FUN...............
I gave two major hints. #1 was Sunday, and #2 was build it. Here's one of the Words......."Christ"
Hey Lee!
What about what Larry suggested? It might make it easier for some... For example for the word Christ,
you could do this ------ or maybe even --R---
or _ _ _ _ _ T
What do you think?
Lee I smoked for 50 years. I am thankful for my health. I don't have much wrong with me. Asthma, High Cholesterol (on Lipitor now) a little bit or Arthritis and one other problem that only a couple of people know about but isn't a big thing, just a private thing.
I appreciate all the Congratulations I have received today. I feel quite proud of myself. I thought I would never be able to quit. It has been a 3 year serious struggle. I Made it and I'm Proud.
And rightly so, Marilyn. I'm so happy for you. You know I've been praying that this habit would be kicked!
I know you have
Pat, for a long time, and the rest of the CP family has been praying too. I thank you all so much for your prayers. I sure needed them. They were answered in a big way.

I am SOOOOOOO proud of you Marilyn :) :) :) :) :)
Many, many congratulations from another former smoker! I am singing praises to our God for you!
Every time I see another smoker in cars, etc., I stop and thank God for helping me to quit....because there except for His grace go I.
It's been about 7 years for me and I am so thankful that I quit and I know you feel the same way. I gained some weight...but it was worth it.
Nita..........
Well dear sister, that's what happens when you leave it up to God. Right? He always knows our wants and needs and He always takes care of our needs. I'm pleased for you. PTL
Bernie, AKA Bernard, Nard......... ;)
My brother, I don't know your present trial, nor do I need to know. Our Lord will help you according to His will. I pray Father that you give strength and wisdom to Bernard while he is wrestling with the decision he's asked us to pray about. I thank you Father for being a God who willingly takes our burdens unto yourself. It is only through our complete faith and submission to you that you hear our prayers. Thank you Lord, thank you for your healing and holy blood. Thank you for making it possible for us to come before you with our needs, and for your knowing them before we ask. Amen
Hi Pat......I will keep Diane and Larry in my prayers.
Judy.....interesting info about water. It is very true that drinking water will solve a lot of ailments.
Tonight at church I saw Ravi Zacharias. He is founder and President of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries out of Atlanta. He has travelled all over the world and written books like "Can man live without God" and "Jesus among other gods" "Deliver us from evil" and "Cries of the heart"
He is one of the most intellectually gifted as well as spiritually sensitive writers of today's leading apologists for the Christian faith.
I bought his book and he signed it. I will let the Muslim family I am talking to borrow it and pray that they will be convinced that Christ is the answer for their need today.
If you ever hear Ravi on the TV or radio, you will be blessed by his message.
God bless
Ruthie ;)

Lee, you remarked to me, but you may have
meant it for someone else. :) But you are so right....our Lord always knows our wants and needs. I'll let you go find the one who prompted that nice reply.
Ruthie: I have seen him several times on TBN and a live broadcast from Amsterdam in a Billy Graham special.
Another one is Luis Palau he is good very good too.
The sky mjust opend up and is dumping buckets of rain on McKinleyville more specifically MY HOUSE.
Well it is evening and I am going to bed early.
Marilyn Good for you. I understand the battle to quit, I have been on the observation end too often as family members attempted to quit. Atta girl really applies here.
Nards I am praying. The word says if any lack wisdom let him as of God and he willgive it. Yes we will pray you receive wisdom.
We had Eli's dedication today. The way Pastor dennis introduces the little ones to the congregation and asks all the congregation to pray for the littlw one is really awesome. He walked down into the congregation and let everyone meet Eli up close. Then he spent time in prayer with him . When Pastor Dennis finished praying Eli looked at him and leaned into his sholder for a quick cuddle. It was so precious!
We had a wonderful family time at Megan's mothers home after for lunch and birthday presents. A really good day.
Today also was a church members 75th birthday. and 40th anniversary at our church. His family took the service. One of the sons in law preached. WOW what a message. I am going to get a taped copy of it. Many stood and recommitted their lives and families to Christ, including Bonnie and DOug with their spouses.
Well on that joyful note I am going to close off and go to bed.
Night all
Judy
Marilyn, I wanted to say how glad I am for you!! I will certainly do the happy dance with you...:) :) This is wonderful. Don't you feel free??
I am going to sign off too. Not to go to sleep but to go into the bedroom to wtch TV, that one works better although much smaller than the 30 yr. old one in the living room.
Marilyn.....God Bless you...I will be praying that you will never go back to smoking.
If you could pray for my son and daughter-in-law who smoke. They know I am praying that they will quit. They go outside in the rain and cold to smoke because they have children. It would be so much easier to quit.
Please pray for Shawn and Kim and I would be ever so grateful to you.
Love Ruthie ;)
Hey everyone,
tonight i come to you with a heavy heart. our church service was one that we needed to have. our church is having some major struggles and is in desperate need of prayer! so i ask you to pray for the church and the people that are affected by it thank you i'm off to bed ttyl
Sarah
Oh, Sarah... That's sad when there are problems in the church family and be sure that we'll pray that the Lord will guide those in the leadership to make the correct decisions.
Now, it's that time again!
Time to lock the door.
