JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Lee: we tried that, then my friends husband took the inside door pannel off and put WD 40 on all the metal parts and worked with it until he got it 1/2 way up and that is all the farther it would go. I think the motor or the switch is messed up after all it was built in 1984 maybe 83 and sold in 84 is more accurate. He is going to see if the electrician at the dealership has any other ideas about fixing it.

Just a quick check in as it is late and this is the first chance I have had to get to the CP site today.  We went to Sunday School and church and then came home and had a quick lunch and rested awhile and then my cousin and his wife and son came to visit and have dinner with us and just left a little while ago.  We had a very nice visit and Pat had made a delicious meal.

I do want to wish our Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving.

Karma, Happy Birthday.

Welcome, Wildflower Joy.  Is there a story behind this screen name?

Pat, I don't think I have ever seen that hymn before nor do I have a copy of it.  If you can scan it and e-mail it to me I will prepare a midi file for you as I have the software to do it.

Was so glad to see the copy of the posting from Papa John and see that he is strong enough to use the computer a bit.

See you all tomorrow.

Sonifo

Well folks, I think I am going to hit the sack a bit early. I am a bit

I will back tomorrow.  I sure hope Karma comes in tonight.

Pat

Oh, Larry, that would be so wonderful.  I can't sing that hymn with dry eyes.  It's just wonderful and awesome to know what our Lord did for us.

I don't have the music though.

I have the song on CD and I think I could write the music out.  I'll see when I have more time.

The tune is a strange name but quite lively...  It's called Godre'r Coed and written by Matthew William Davies.

Thanks Nita for that nice colourful greeting!  Now, tomorrow is the day so hopefully, you all can practice your graphics programs and make some nice Thanksgiving graphics!  LOL  Then you'll be able to save them and use them again in November!  So they won't go to waste!

Hello all, and thank you, thank you, thank you for all the wonderful greetings.  I've been in a couple of times today, just long enough to grab a bit of cake or drink, but not long enough to post.  We went to church, came home grabbed a sandwich and went riding.

As we were going up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped at one point for Bernard to take some pictures.  This was in a section of road where we were in a straight of about 50 yards with fairly sharp curves on either end.

As we were sitting there, this motorcycle (Ninja types, for those of you wondering) came flying by (like close to 70 mph :-\).  A few seconds later, some more, then some more.  Then, this guy came up, a little slower than the rest, but not much.  As he went around a curve, his knee got really close to the road, not unusual, but something made me look closely.  He went on around the curve and I thought, "That didn't sound like the rest of them."  (I found out later that Bernard thought the same thing).  Then, a few more guys went around, and they seemed ot stop just on the other side of the curve.  We looked and they were all looking down at something.  We got back in the Jeep, adn sure enough, this guy had wiped out, bad. They were obviously fairly serious riders because they had on full body leather, which probably kept this guy from being one big scab.  We did find out later that they airlifted him to a bigger hospital, so it wasn't good.  Gotta be careful on those things.

We went on our merry way, stopped to see Bernard's grandparents (his grandmother had to go to the emergency room this morning -- soemthing with her heart), but they sent her home and she seems to be fine now.  Then, church tonight, home, ate a quick bite, looked at some pictures, and now I'm ready to join my party!!

As has been said before, that is probably more than you ever wanted to know.

Anyway, thanks to all of you. I feel very, very special now!!!  ;D :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Pat

I'm so sorry about that accident.  Let's pray for this fellow.  The Lord knows all about it.

Now, Karma, please know that you ARE very special to all of us.

Glad you got here before midnight!  LOL

Have you ever thought that Isaiah 6:3 reads 1+1+1=3=1

Think about it. "Holy, holy, holy" .  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One.

Whew!  Church was wonderful....the beginning of our 40 Days of Purpose.  The sermon for the next 5 weeks will be on this theme.  Then Jerry and I had breakfast out.  We went by his place and then came here.  Today is also the beginning of the Holiday Tutorials for PSP.  I printed out 10 lessons and did two lessons.  I really don't know why I do these lessons.  I get so frustrated!!!!!  Oh, well!  I guess they keep the mind alert.

Now it is time for read the first chapter of 'The Purpose Driven Life'.  Cami, is this the book you are studying?

Now I am bleary-eyed!  I read all your comments but I am hurrying so I can get to bed before midnight.

God Bless You All!!!

Pat

Thanks for all of the Thanksgiving messages!

Now you can post them all again!  This is now Thanksgiving Day in Canada!

What a lovely Sunday we had!

Let's all think today of things that we can truly be thankful for.

I'm very thankful that my Lord and Saviour died on that cruel cross of Calvary for ME.  Can you imagine that?  For me!  And He prayed for ME!

Oh, what a wonderful Father and God we have!

Now, it's time to lock the door once again and we'll continue in our Thanksgiving topic!
