And My thoughts than your thoughts.
"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower

Morning Devotional...

Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
Numbers 14:25

It is one thing to pray for others--as Moses had done--when you are not implicated in the results of that prayer. But what happens if God's answer to our prayer impacts us? What if it calls us to greater labor and sacrifice?

Moses had already felt the extreme burden of leading the people. Now God called him to face the years of wilderness wandering with these rebellious and often critical people.

His intercession on their behalf had, it seemed, worked to his own detriment. Yet, he was a true man of God and had the Lord's exaltation at heart.

Would I be prepared to do this?

Return unto thy rest, O my soul;
for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Psalm 116:7

Author:  Jean S. Piogott, 19th Century
Musician:  James Mountain, 1843-1933

Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.
Thou hast bid me gaze upon Thee,
And Thy beauty fills my soul,
For by Thy transforming power,
Thou hast made me whole.

Refrain

Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.

O, how great Thy loving kindness,
Vaster, broader than the sea!
O, how marvelous Thy goodness,
Lavished all on me!
Yes, I rest in Thee, Belovèd,
Know what wealth of grace is Thine,
Know Thy certainty of promise,
And have made it mine.

Refrain

Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus,
I behold Thee as Thou art,
And Thy love, so pure, so changeless,
Satisfies my heart;
Satisfies its deepest longings,
Meets, supplies its every need,
Compasseth me round with blessings:
Thine is love indeed!

Refrain

Ever lift Thy face upon me
As I work and wait for Thee;
Resting 'neath Thy smile, Lord Jesus,
Earth's dark shadows flee.
Brightness of my Father's glory,
Sunshine of my Father's face,
Keep me ever trusting, resting,
Fill me with Thy grace.

Refrain

Hi everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been around today.  I have been busy working on my special stuff in PSP.  Marilyn, the classes are great with Artistry.  I have been working with the Masters (the final group after the novice and artists classes) for I guess about 9 months now.  The Masters group is a little different.  (Said for those who are finishing up with the Artist's class)  We have the opportunity to do less, or learn more.  The choice is ours.  I am currently in a learning mode, and am doing as many tutorials as I can get my hands on.  PSP tends to be my relaxation, I don't find it stressful or in any way work for me.  I do know however that there are others out there who have trouble having it all make sence.

Anyway, enough of that....LOL

Mom I am sorry to hear that you fell....I hope you are feeling like you are back to normal soon.  The kids need you to be well.

I am going to run, but as always I will be around to check in on posts.

Love to all,
Heather

Sarah, I am sorry your Grampa is sick.  He must have cancer since they are giving him morphine.  That's what my dad had some years ago.

Glad you enjoyed Angel Fire.  That's a beautiful place, isn't it?  We built a cabin south of there quite awhile ago, and enjoyed going there lots of times.  We used to go to church at Angel Fire when we were at the cabin for a week or so.

Psalm 64:10
"The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in Him."

Words by W. Y. Fullerton
Tune Londonderry Air (Traditional Irish Melody)

I cannot tell why He, whom angels worship
Should set His love upon the sons of men,
Or why, as Shepherd, He should seek the wanderers
To bring them back, they know not how or when.
But this I know, that He was born of Mary
When Bethlehem's manger was His only home,
And that He lived at Nazareth and labored,
And so the Savior, Savior of the world, is come.

I cannot tell how silently He suffered
As with His peace He graced this place of tears,
Or how His heart upon the cross was broken,
The crown of pain to three and thirty years.
But this I know, He heals the broken hearted
And stays our sin and calms our lurking fear,
And lifts the burden from the heavy laden,
For yet the Savior, Savior of the world, is here.

I cannot tell how He will win the nations,
How He will claim His earthly heritage,
Or satisfy the needs and aspirations
Of east and west, of sinner and of sage.
But this I know, all flesh shall see His glory,
And He shall reap the harvest He has sown,
And some glad day His sun will shine in splendor
When He the Savior, Savior of the world, is known.

I cannot tell how all the lands shall worship
When at His bidding every storm is stilled,
Or who can say how great the jubilation
When all the hearts of men with love are filled.
But this I know, the skies will thrill with rapture,
And countless voices then will join to sing.
And earth to heaven, and heaven to earth will answer:
"At last the Savior, Savior of the world, is King!"

Hi! I will keep this brief as I need to get started here at work.  I enjoyed the scriptures and the devotional.  I hope to be adding this to my morning routine, like having the radio on the local Christian station every morning on the way to work.  That little bit of uplift to start my day makes the rest of the day go better.  Thank-you, Pat and Thank-you Lord for Your unfailing love and grace.

In God's grace,

Good Morning Everyone!

Seems I've been up for hours!  I was packing my Avon last night and since this is a very short campaign, I have to get it completely done today.

Great to see you in here, Kathy!  Have a great day at work.  I look forward to seeing posts from you as often as you can spare the time.  Did you get lots of snow?  It ended up that we didn't get as much as was predicted.  Spring is just a few days away!

Janice, so good to see that you were in here last night after I locked the door of yesterday's NEM.  I think of you and Earl often.

Sarah, I'm so very sorry to read about your Grandpa.  I do feel so sad for your Grandma at this time and I'll be praying for the family as they go through this time together.

Have a good day at work, Heather.  PSP tends to be my time to relax too except when I'm hurrying to beat the deadline at the end of the class.  I tend to enjoy doing the lessons for the Artistry group over instead of the Masters.  I learn something each time I do them.

Hi Ria...     What a lovely poem...  I'm going to repeat it here again.  I'm also going to print it out and put it in my Bible.

Good morning!  Ria, you are an inspiration to me!  I did go to the care home yesterday, but had Abby with me and I was not feeling so good, so I didn't contact the activities director about what help they are needing.  But I will!

Janice, good to see you!  Welcome, Kathy West!

Sarah, I'm so sorry about your grandpa.  It isn't easy saying goodbye (even temporarily) to those we love.

I slept better last night, not as much pain, so I guess the treatment and the pills helped.  But I don't dare push it, so better get off here now!  I need to see what changes I can make with my setup here, so I don't have to lift my arms so high to type.

For St. Patrick's day..........

Irish Blessings:
May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks.
May your heart be as light as a song.
May each day bring you bright happy hours,
That stay with you all year long.

May the sons of your sons fill your home with laughter.

May God grant you many years to live,
for sure He must be knowing,
the earth has angels all too few,
and heaven is overflowing.

Always remember to forget the troubles that passed away.
But never forget to remember the blessings that come each day.

Good Morning.Pat I have sent the link to the article about the Hmoung Christians to my friends down south. How sad and awful is the treatment of those wonderful Christians. By The Way Pat I love your new photo, you are so petite and cute. ;D I have bookmarked the site for the PSP lessons and will check it out later today.  I am getting a $30.00 rebate on PSP all I have to do is send in a compy of my icture It CD and a copy of my electronic reciept or shipping order. So it is only costing me $58.00 after the rebate.

Jenny Where are you this morning?

Ria I know that you will really enjoy going into the Nursing home and being a blessing to the people there. In my work I feel blessed to be able to help those who can no longer help themselves. Fay and I discuss the Bible everyday and she always waits for me to pray over the food before she eats. Jesus said that when we do for the least of them it is like we are doing it for him. (Parphrased by me) It blesses me to be a blessing.

Our snow was funny.  It snowed...all the ground was covered but the pavements weren't.  The snow melted on the pavements.  Jerry and I went to our Small Group Bible study last evening.  One of the men...works for Indiana Gas Company...was driving to work yesterday morning.  The roads looked fine but was slick in spots.  He approaced a crossroad with a church on one of the corners.  A car meeting him slid and went across the road in front of him.  He slammed on his brakes (one brake he knew wasn't working and had reported it to get it fixed) so he slid sideways into the parking lot of this small church.  The lady in the car did a 360°, then turned over twice, landing on the top of the car.  He was afraid to see if she was hurt but did anyway.  She didn't have a scratch on her.  Ironic that they both ended up in the church parking lot and neither was hurt.  God was sure present!!!

It was snowing again when I took out the trash this morning.  A wet snow...blowing.  My hair was wet when I came back in.

Marilyn ~ The PSP lessons...the website doesn't stay open for long after the lessons are over.  You can see the lessons but you can't download things.  What I do is I download what I need to do the lessons and then print them out...lots of ink and paper.  Then I can do them in my own time and also have the prints for later use.

Liz ~ I am having a 'nasty' test done at the hospital tomorrow.  Clear, liquid diet today.

Sarah ~ Sorry to hear about your Grandpa.  Some people just get tired of living and truly welcome the thought of living with Jesus in heaven.  I know I will....but just not yet.

Kathy ~ Glad to see you posting.  It is great to get into a habit of Godly things, isn't it?

Good morning!!  ;D  I won't stay long because I need to get to the store and then finish getting things together for my trip south!

I will be leaving for California in the morning and not returning until Monday.  First, I will be stopping for a visit with MARILYN, AL and MARBETH... YEEEHAAAAW   Then, I'll be going further south into California to attend my first ever high school reunion.  I have never even wanted to go to a h.s. reunion but the announcement came at just the right time for me.  :-\  I have been under a lot of stress for these past months and a break from it all will be wonderful.

After brunch, on Sunday, I will be driving to Sacramento with the hope of a visit with (some of) my grandchildren.  Sixteen year old Laura says she will be home and looking forward to seeing Grandma, but she's not sure if she will be able to round up the rest of the family.  They are Jean's children, and very busy with their own agendas, y'know?  I did ask her to please try to get hold of Tim and his family, because I haven't seen him in a few years and he's just back from Iraq.  I really want to keep in touch but he was only able to write to me while away from home ... it's an old story which I prefer to leave in the dark.  Suffice it to say, this part of the family (except for Laura) have things other than grandma to think about.  :-\

Anyway ... I am off to get some more of that work stuff done around here.  As Arnold says "I'll be ba-a-ack!"
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Pat,  That storm yesterday missed us altogether.  It all went south of us.  I heard that the Lansing and Detriot areas got hit - the wet heavy stuff that makes traveling such a mess.  It's trying to snow sort of today, little tiny flakes float past the windows every now and then.

Soni, I guess I like a lot of different groups and really don't have a favorite.  I do have a couple of Mercy Me cds and I really enjoy their music and message.  I listen to WCSG out of Grand Rapids and they are online if anyone is interested to listening via the web.

and register there.  They are a great bunch of people and I have learned that there are a number of Christians in the group!  I can't take credit for them being my classes though.  I would never have learned of them if it hadn't been for my aunt taking the classes.  Just when I got started I wasn't able to stop.  My hubby hardly saw me for 2 months when I was going through the classes....LOL.....  I expect that I am not the normal one here!

Mom, I hope your back is feeling better today!  It is nice to see that you are going to be coming up here to the Bay, I think that is a good sign, that you are feeling a bit better.  I don't know about having enough of the white stuff for me though.  I kinda enjoy looking at the snow.  It is ice that I have a problem with.  Ever since I broke my ankle, 3 years ago, I have been a little scared of ice and walking on it.  It is good to know though, that Spring is coming and with it the warmer weather.  Thankfully I was born in the spring, because I know that by the time my birthday rolls around we will be enjoying warm weather all the time.

Sara, I am sorry to hear about your grandfather.  It must be terrible for him to be in so much pain.  I know it is equally aweful for you knowing that he is in that pain.  I will be praying for you and your grandpa.  Both my grandfather's are in Heaven, and I know they are much happier there than they were here.  I still miss them very much, but knowing that they are happy makes it all worthwhile for me.

Ria, you are doing amazingly well with your English.  I love coming online in the morning knowing that I am going to be able to sit and read what you have had to write.  Jon, my hubby, and I have been talking, and we have decided that rather than save money at first to buy a house, we are going to save money to do some travelling.  It won't be this summer, but hopefully by next summer we will be able to come and visit you in Holland.  I have always wanted to see the land that my father came from.  We will be adding Scotland into the trip.  We are hoping by the time we are able to make this trip, that Jon will have learned who is Birth mother is, so that he can track down some roots in Scotland.

Ok, now that I have gone all color on you, I am going to sign off....lol

Love to all
Heather

Hello everyone ---

Zach... I know how you feel about dogs. When I was 4 I was goin out to feed my grandfather's dogs and one of them thought was trying to tease them with the food. The dog bit me and I had to have 107 sitches on my face, mouth, and tongue. So believe me I know how you feel. I am still a bit skiddish around big dogs at 27!

Hello Soni... Loved those pictures of Chandraya... Such a cutie!

Lately I have been working on some test shoots for my series and am looking for one pivital piece that I need for the shoot. Plain large brown paper bags... like the ones you get from the grocery store, but with nothing printed on them. I can only find them in large quanities from like a wholesaler or something and I only need like 30 (not the 500 I would have to buy from a wholesaler). Anyone know where I might be able to find some?

Also been trying to work up my network. I'm currently looking for a hairstylist, makeup artist, and fashion designer so that we can work on projects together. I'm mostly looking to do a TFP deal (Time for Prints... It's a term that professional photographers use, if you didn't know) as I don't have the kind of money that these people charge. So be in prayer for that... I'm looking at making a flyer and putting it up at the local community colleges that offer cosmotology and fashion design to see if I get any takers.... cuz a student will be more understanding as they are most likely in the same boat as I am.

Also been working very hard on getting my friend Kristen an art show at the gallery I work at. It looks like it will be happening after we move our gallery next month. So excited!! Can't wait to see her again... She is an amazing photographer and I know we will have a blast while she is here!

Well of to get some stuff done!

Good afternoon all!  A clear, sunny, cold day here in Western North Carolina.  I hope everyone of you is having a great day.

Soni -- No, I don't have one in portraits.  I couldn't do what I wanted to, and just never got anything else done.  I do have one in "parallel" and it is doing better than I thought (not great, but better than anticipated).

Here's a question for you to ponder.  Aside from salvation, what is the single greatest thing Christ has ever done for you?

Have a fun time, Jane.  ;D

What's Jane going to do that you're telling her to have "fun" doing?

Good morning!!  ;D  I won't stay long because I need to get to the store and then finish getting things together for my trip south!

I will be leaving for California in the morning and not returning until Monday.  First, I will be stopping for a visit with MARILYN, AL and MARBETH... YEEEHAAAAW   Then, I'll be going further south into California to attend my first ever high school reunion.  I have never even wanted to go to a h.s. reunion but the announcement came at just the right time for me.  :-\  I have been under a lot of stress for these past months and a break from it all will be wonderful.

Marilyn, when the classes start, you are automatically added to a Yahoo group.  The groups shut down when the classes aren't in session.
