Mieka ~ We may be sad to think that some of our families and friends may not go to heaven with us but remember, in heaven, God's home will then be with his people.  He will live with them and they will be his own.  Yes, God will make his home among his people.  He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.  These things of the past will be gone forever.  

Marilyn ~ My brother's dog walks so proud when she comes from the groomer.  Almost like she KNOWS she is beautiful and have been trimmed and primmed.    I see your picture of yourself just fine.

Pat ~ I know how you felt....getting ready in a rush.  I haven't done it too many times but when I do....I wonder if I forgot to put something on that I should have on....

Larry ~ Yes, the Left Behind series are great page-turner books.  They really hold your interest.  Perhaps you can find a shady tree to sit under this summer with a cold glass of iced tea and ready away.

Jerry and I went to a steak house that has newly opened in Noblesville.  Great.  I had to have some of their Broccohli/Cheese soup also.  Then we went to Wal~Mart.  I just needed a couple of items but the bill was over $100.    I can never go to Wal~Mart and get a couple of items.  The Kentucky Derby was today.  We turned it on when we got back.  I was watching them put the horses in the starting gate. Then I heard Jerry yell, hurray!!!  I missed the race.    I momentarily fell asleep!  Then I promptly went back to sleep and slept a few hours.  Like Mom used to say....If you didn't need the sleep, you wouldn't sleep!  Good philosophy, Mom!  

Just in case I don't get in here in the morning, I pray that everyone has a great Lord's day.

Marilyn ~ Never take a car to a tire shop like Goodyear to have Alignments done! I worked for Goodyear on their front end rack for a short time. I didn't like their policy! It is get them today because they won't be back tomorrow, I always felt that if I took care of them today, it would guarantee they would come back tomorrow! When you need front end alignment take your car to a bodyshop that has an alignment rack! They do it without trying to sell you a bunch of parts you don't need and they do a better job for a lower price. I Have worn many hats and as I have said, I am a master Jack of all trades, but I am the master of none! Confused yet! I could tell you the schools I have taken just to keep busy! (VBG)

THANK YOU JERRY That will be my last trip to GoodYear. I knew there was some reason I didn't trust them. I kept sitting there thinking I wonder what they are going to say i need. Well they got me this time that's my fault but they ain't gonna get me again.

Well I see my other photos still arent' back. Last week when I emailed the webmaster, I never did get a response, the same thing today. We'll see what happens, they just might bethere tomorrow.
If i had all the stuff I posted on there i would just change my website to someplace else. But I paid up until October.

I'm late again and it's time to turn in - 11:00 here in Corinth!

I spent a busy, tiring day shopping.  First for a phone with a blinking light that's also hearing aid compatible for my mother.  Then since I was in Glens Falls I went to one of the bigger supermarkets and stocked up on stuff I can't get here in town, as well as all the usual items.  I had so much in the back of the station wagon (and some in the back seat, too) I wasn't sure I'd make it over the moutain!  Now my cupboards are bursting but my wallet sure is flat.

We'll be getting up early for church tomorrow so I'd better call it a night and wait until tomorrow to catch up on the other forums.

Just poppin' in for a moment to say "hi."  As I was reading, i thought of all kinds of things to reply with, but I didn't write them down, so . . .

Ya'll have Devil's Tower, we have Devil's Courthouse.  It is a large rock "outcropping' that looks out over Pisgah National forest.  Cherokee legend has something to say about it, but I don't remember what.

Hmmm, rained some today in spots.  Three days in a row of thunderstorms and hail.  And always around 3 in the afternoon!

Hmmmmm, hmmmmmm, hmmmmmmm.  Thats all I can remember right now.

Oh yea, my sister in law is a MRI technician.  At one point they would pay people $20 dollars to come in and have an MRI made of "healthy parts" so the students at the local college could study them.  I got to be a guinea pig one time, but I have the coolest MRI of my brain.   They kept the one of my knee, elbow and shoulder.  They also ask if you have any metal in your body, and to remove all jewelry or articles of clothing that may have even the smallest bit of metal in it.  I saw a video one time of where a small thumb tack virtually shattered a cement block in a mri machine, the magnet was that strong.  Jenny, my sil, told me that if you have a pin in your knee or something, it could possible pull it out, through the skin and all!!  Ouch.  
I'm sorry you had ot be in there so long Papa.  Definitely not fun.

Hi Mieka!!!!  I hope your quest for truth is going well.

hmmm, hmmm, hmmmm.  Etta, the wedding is in Ill. on June 28, so we will be through there a day or two before that, or a day or two after.  My mom has a dear friend in a retirement home somewhere in Indianapolis, so we may try to find her as well!

Anything else???  Don't think so.  Going to bed now.  We went mountain biking and rode about 20 minutes, but walked about 30.  There was one trail that we went up that was not fit for man nor beast.  It was one steep puppy.  Needless to say, my legs are hating me right now.  So, good night all!!!
