Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Well I was attempting to be humerous.  Those who just don't get it - well they just don't get it.  I wishie they did, but I know that won't wash with you.

Janet

I am back home from Martha's service. It was truly a wonderful service. My pastor lead the service, and Her grandson who is also an Assembly of God Pastor from Florida spoke a sermon on The raising of Lazarus and also talked about The other Lazarus who was in Abraham's bosom. Then he gave an Altar call. There weren't as many people there as I thought there would be. So many from our church didn't come.

Well I am going to catch up here now. TTYL

Well we have had a nice day here in Nashville.  I enjoyed reading the discussions today.  A little humor helps us all.

I'm sure a lot of our questions will answered when the time comes.  Also I'm sure we all are in for some surprises because I don't think any of us will get everything just right.  Aren't we glad for God's grace?  God DOES love us and he wants us to be HIS.  He wants us to know Him!   Jesus prayed:

*Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."  John 17:3   (NIV)

Well, what a busy day I've had!  I've been in here from time to time, was talking to Janet on MSN Messenger when someone knocked at the door and as a result, I've been over to Andrew's for supper and just got in the door!  So, all in all, it was a really nice day, rain and all!

I've really enjoyed the discussion in here today.  It was as if I was back in Seminary with the joking and chuckling going on back and forth!  Those were the days!

I'm off to read more of the forums and then I want to get ready for the Lord's Day.  I feel that a lot of preparation for this start Saturday or really all week and Sunday is the culmination of this.  I love the Breaking of Bread service where I attend.  I really come away feeling I've been fed a banquet.

I'll be back a little later.

I won't comment except to say, Marilyn, glad the service went alright.  Difficult sometimes to attend and remember.  Karma, I'm still feeling bad for you losing a good friend but how wonderful that he was a believer.  Janet, we're going to miss you.  Maybe you'll be able to get online where you're staying.

Janice, thanks for the report on Earl.  It took 10 years from when we were first told that eventually Jack would be on dialysis till it happened.  It was a gradual decline.  As Janet has said, you must look after yourself as caregiving is such a huge job.

I never meant to imply I though Rudolph was a hero.   ::)  Sorry if it came across that way.  I would like to point out though, when the Olympic Park was first bombed, they wanted him as a witness and stated clearly that he was not a suspect.  Then, when he didn't come forward, they named him as a suspect.  Also, the abortion clinic things were added afterwards.  He has not been tried yet.  If he did do it, he deserves to be punished, as bombing an abortion clinic (or anything else) is not right under any circumstances, but if he didn't do it, it was merely convenient to pin it on him.  Then after eluding the FBI for close to 7 or 8 years, they will be definitely want to prove him guilty.   I guess "legend" would have been a more appropriate term.
