They changed the price to the camera to $3299.99 how weird is that.  I am going to get some food I will talk to ya soon.

Talk about inflation!  From $3 to $3,000+ in a matter of minutes. lol     So.......does this mean no $3.00 camera?

One of the puppies went to her new home today.  I received a call from some friends of the lady who is adopting two girls on Monday.  They came, fell in love, and left with little Maddie.  She was snuggling in her new mama's neck when they left.  Kim, my daughter who has cared for them, with me, from their birth, cried.  She tried to hide her head, but didn't make it.  I did ok.

We had sunshine this morning, but it's overcast now.

The whole family is going to see the movie "The Incredibles".  I am excited as are the kids. 
I didn't get any pictures today, it was way to cold. BRRRRRSSSS...  Maybe tomorrow, well it will have to be tomorrow.  There is nothing like waiting till the last moment.

I did go to my painting meeting, about 80 miles away.  But I didn't drive all the way; met two friends at a junction 27 miles from here.  We did a cute project, had a good day, nice to see my friends again, as I hadn't gotten to go to a meeting for several months.  When we left, the weather wasn't doing anything, then we ran into rain just before we got to my car, and before I got home, the ground was white.  It got heavier and larger flakes the closer I got to home.  So I'm happy to be here in my cozy home instead of out on the road!  And I made it before dark, too!

I could hardly believe my eyes---page 5 today!!  That's great!

Welcome, Matt!  I will go look at your photos when I get this done.

Nita, I sure hope we find good homes for our puppies this coming week!  We have some "maybes" but they are all still here!

I will take a photo of the project I painted today and post it under "Creations with a Brush."

Hope you all have a good night's rest tonight, and me, too.  I got very little sleep last night, so I'm fading fast!

it's still cold and snowing here..... looks like everything is breaking up but they say it willb e back....i don't know for sure if i will be able to get out to church tomorrow cuz i live 30 minutes from there and usually leave at 845......so if i do get to go i'll have to leave around 8 and dunno if i'll get to drive.... anyways....we got third in our meet today for academic bowl.... we  get to advance to area and  play on jan 13 hopefully the weather is better by then.... i better go and get to sleep so i can get up and see what it's like outside...ttyl

I've loved the posts here today! I got here too late to see the $3.00 price, but did note the $3,000 one.

Wal Mart has a digital camera  - Sony Cyber-shot P41 Digital Camera (4.1 megapixels, 3x precision digital zoom, 640 x 480 VGA MPEG movie mode). The price is $178.87 this week. Does anyone have a comment? I could still go over there tonight and purchase it as a gift for myself.

I couldn't believe my good news - one of my children is paying the full cost for my ticket to see Danny!! So, now, I may even be able to take a camera with me (if the price is right and y'all think it's a good buy).

Help me out, here! PLEASE.

You're from York?  My husband's father's family was farming by Gresham, Nebraska.  We were married at the Lutheran church in Gresham, and we lived there for a while.  We went to school in Seward, Nebraska (at Concordia).

Buy it...it is a great deal.  The zoom is bad but the if you aren't going to use it then why get that feature.  I lived for 4 years without a zoom and got pretty pictures with my sony cyber shot.

I'm still having problems with the gallery.   I wanted to look, comment, and keep getting lost.  And why does it want me to log in again?   I feel so dense.

Nita, it shouldn't want you to login if you go there by clicking on the button above to get there and also when you login on CP that you click on the "Forever" button to stay logged in.

Please keep trying!

Also, Nita, when you're in the Gallery, it's all divided up into the Users albums.  Click on "Users Galleries" and they are all in order as to how people first registered on CP.  That's how the software does it.

You can see the latest uploads by clicking on "Last Uploads".

You can see the latest comments that people have left in there by clicking on "Last Comments".

Then when you're ready to come back to the forums, there's a button at the top that says "Forums".

Well, it's time to lock the door.
