Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Logar, I really appreciated your earlier message.  What a wonderful Father we have.

Father, I Stretch My Hands to Thee
(Click to hear music)

I have stretched out my hands unto Thee.
Psalm 88:9

Words: Charles Wesley, Psalms and Hymns, 1741
Music: Naomi, Hans G. N䧥li; arranged by Lowell Mason, 1836

Father, I stretch my hands to Thee,
No other help I know;
If Thou withdraw Thyself from me,
Ah! whither shall I go?

What did Thine only Son endure,
Before I drew my breath!
What pain, what labor, to secure
My soul from endless death!

Surely Thou canst not let me die;
O speak, and I shall live;
And here I will unwearied lie,
Till Thou Thy Spirit give.

Author of faith! to Thee I lift
My weary, longing eyes:
O let me now receive that gift!
My soul without it dies.

QuoteMy thoughts this morning rest with, my savior, Jesus Christ. I can’t fully comprehend his sacrifice; to be omnipotent and to give that up and take human form is amazing. He had never felt hunger or pain or been hot. He had never felt fear or lust. He had never been tempted by the devil. To give all that up and to come to Earth and take on human form and to feel all of our weaknesses so that a person like me could be saved; just blows me away. I could never pay him back for his sacrifice, but I thank him everyday for it.

There are some beautiful thoughts there, Logar!  Read Phil. 2:1-11 regarding this.  He was indeed tempted by every sin, but He Himself did not sin!  But even more than that, our Lord came into a world that hated His beloved Father.  He had to hear and see all the rebellion of people against His Father.  That's got to have hurt Him more than anythng.  I think of the hymn:

Praise the Savior, ye who know Him,
Who can tell how much we owe Him!
Gladly let us render to Him
All we are and have.

Great to see you here, John.   Hope you won't be a stranger now.  Start a topic over in Photos and let's watch Lucas grow.  I'd just love that.

This is for you, Al Moak...

Praise the Saviour, Ye Who Know Him
(Click to hear music)

We thank Thee,
and praise Thy glorious Name.
1 Chronicles 29:13

Words: Thomas Kelly
Music: “Acclaim,” traditional German melody

Praise the Savior, ye who know Him!
Who can tell how much we owe Him?
Gladly let us render to Him
All we are and have.

Jesus is the Name that charms us,
He for conflict fits and arms us;
Nothing moves and nothing harms us
While we trust in Him.

Trust in Him, ye saints, forever,
He is faithful, changing never;
Neither force nor guile can sever
Those He loves from Him.

Keep us, Lord, O keep us cleaving
To Thyself, and still believing,
Till the hour of receiving
Promised joys with Thee.

Then we shall be where we would be,
Then we shall be what we should be,
Things that are not now, nor could be,
Soon shall be our own.

Thank you, dear sister.  I had thought you earlier referred to the other hymn you had posted.  This one is indeed one of my very favorites.  Oh how I wish they'd sing it where we worship!  They're so busy with "contemporary" music that such gems as this are overlooked.

Hello!  I am so glad you found this place!  Hopefully we'll chat a bit more tomorrow. :-)

Marilyn

Here I am back again.

TBear Welcome to CP

I have been printing photos to sell at the Craft Fair next weekend. I was making a few other things but time didn't permit me to do allthat I wanted to do witht he crocheting. I did make several crosses in different colours to sell and will make a few more. I am really counting of the prints to sell though. I love my new dell All in one printer , the photos look fantastic.

It is so good to see you here Jerry and actually posting so post often.

Chirs and Margit. Thank you for the posts on Spiritual Warfare, that is something we all need to be aware of and to practice in our every day lives.That old Snake is constantly in the background trying his best to "Kill, Steal and Destroy" any way he can.

Pat I saw your story about Geordie on SN, you sound like me, I carry on conversations with Bebe and Happydog and I do believe they understand what I am telling them. They understand "breakfast, supper, stor, dog food,. treats, cookies" and a host of other word.  They talk to me to just like Geordie talks to you. They sure are precious arent they?

Hi Marilyn...   Yes, our pets are so precious.  I don't know what I'd do without this doggy.  You know all about that.  I'm glad you're getting some things ready for this sale.  I wish you well.    I'm going to make a cup of tea now.  It's been a great day on CP today.

By the way, thanks for clicking on the ads, folks.  There have been 18 clicks today on various ads.  All make a difference to CP.  Thanks

It's been a nice day in NEM today.  Nice comments to cause us to stop and consider our spiritual state, rejoicing with John and Joanna on the birth of their new little one and seeing some of our travellers come home from celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends, welcoming new folks...

All lovely to be able to do.

Now it's time to think about the Lord's Day.

Time to lock the door once again and I'll see you in Sunday's NEM... CLICK HERE
