AACK, Pat!  Been there, done that!  Not the fire part, but certainly the getting sidetracked part!  So glad God was looking after you, and that dear Geordie sounded the alarm in time!

Any progress on the new deck?

Gotta go, I'm tired (again!) and need to get a good night's rest so I don't miss any of what the Lord has in store for us tomorrow!

Hi Janet...  Neil got delayed at the Quebec border so didn't get here till about 2:30 pm so didn't get as much done as he had hoped.  He got here just after my "fire" and smelled it out on the street.

How silly I feel getting sidetracked so easily.

Hi everyohe.  It is late and I had about 50 postings to read for yesterday and today so will make only a few comments but enjoyed reading all of the postings.

Pat, I am certainly glad you had no fire damage other than the smell.  That could have been terrible.  I am thankful that you had Geordie to alert you before it really tuned into something very serious.  It is so easy to become distracted.

Karmat, I read the article and that was indeed a nice writeup.

Carol, that is certainly sorry news concerning the New Tribes Mission.  Our world is in a terrible mess. Just hope the folks are not harmed before they can leave the country.  

Ruth Ann, what a day you had yesterday.  At least your vehicle started each time.

Pat oh my not damage to your house, what about smoke damage? Thank goodness Geordie howled.  My smoke alarm  even with a brand new battery goes off  with just me cooking and no smoke. Of course the house is small and no matter how many times I fan it it starts again so Ijust take out the battery, now I must put it back in.

I am learning to write web pages in HTML I just started the class, but using HTML kit makes it so easy.

OK Janet now after all these busy days it is time for you to call a halt and get some resting time in.

Hi Pat, just read about your near fire and all the smoke.  Wow, I've done that before.  Thank the Lord for Geordie!  I know the smell stays for a long time.  You can get a round tin called "Air Sponge".  Take off the lid and leave it near the smell.  It is very good for taking away the smell.   

I just came home from a concert for MATE.  An organization that send books to 3rd world countries.  Tonight the money was for clean water for Zambia. Especially for the children who get diarrhia and then die.  They need around $16,000 to drill for a well for clean water.

I'm listening to the song "Loving God, loving Each Other" by the Reunion Group or originally by the Gaithers.  A lovely song.  It reminded me about the Gaither Homecoming that I went to with Pat and Lornie and Patricia around 3 weeks ago.   Hope I can get a video while they were in Toronto.
