Job interview has come & gone.  So, things went well so thee person that did the interview said that she would contact me the end of next week so ... we will have to think postive thoughts all week till next week so we will see.  She asked what sort of job I'd want & I told her HOSTESS so we will see what happens & I'll keep you all posted !!

This whole day has just about gotten away from me, but here I am!

Ruth Ann, that is wonderful about your boss bringing his clients to meet you!  You do really good work for him, and he is proud of you! (as he should be.)  Glad you have found a Christian lady to help with whatever it is.

I haven't felt very energetic today again, but have managed to get done the things that needed doing.  Taught my class, went to Bible study this evening, and now need to get Abby and myself into bed.

Carol, RK surgery is radial karatotomy, which they used to correct extreme near-sightedness, before they started using the lasik surgery.  Ah,,,,,,,,hindsight.   I had thought maybe I could just buy a pair of those funny little reading glasses for morning use, but looked at some at Diane's store this morning and couldn't read with any of the ones she had.  So I'm still thinking.  Too many glasses!! 

Our guys leave for Promise Keepers in the morning.  The enemy is really attacking some of them, trying to keep them from going, so that was a matter of prayer in our ladies' meeting tonight.

Abby brought along her pumpkin, so carving a puppy face in that is on her agenda for tomorrow.    Not sure how well that will turn out, but should be a photo op anyway! 

Anthony, in warm weather, your niece's feet should be really.... uh.....aromatic after a week.        

Karen, the job sounds as if it will be yours.  What sort of place is it?  Have you closed on your "old" house yet?

Nita, it is wonderful how God can uphold us even through the roughest storms of life.  I'm still thinking of your family and praying for you.  (((hugs)))

I have had a long week today so will keep this post short.

Karen, how has the close on your house gone?  I too will be praying that you get the job.  It is tough looking for work.

RuthAnn it is nice to read that you too will be receiving help with an issue in your life.  I know the help that you provided to me with the revamping of my resume was priceless and I am so happy to see that you have now been rewarded in this fashion.  He does take care of us!  What a compliment to you that your boss wants to make sure that you are the one recognized for your work!

I did make a couple of stops on my way home from work this evening and have now made a start on my Christmas shopping.  I am tired and think I will head for bed.  Night everyone.
