Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Hello all!  Sorry to not be more social today, jsut couldn't seem to get at the 'puter much.

TAS seems to have given Nards his cold, and after 4 days/nights of staying up late and getting up early (yep, he's still getting up before 7), I am physically whupped.  So, at 9:15 on the East Coast, Karma and Nard are calling it a night.

A night.

Sleep tight ya'll, and I'll be around tomorrow some, hopefully.

Here I am, late again but it's all your fault -  I had to read through five pages first!  ;D

I've been spending so much time trying to make FrontPage do what I want, fighting Windows XP while I'm at it.  Oh well, I'll either conquer it or bust a gusset trying!

We went to a new (to us) opthalmologist today to see about Gene's cataract.  His appointment was for 11:00 ans we got there at 10:45.  The girl told us to take a seat and they'd "be with us" in just a few minutes.  The waiting room was so crowded we couldn't even get seats together at first - no problem, there are three different doctors in the group, that was probably why.

NOT!  11:00 came and went.  Then 11:15, 11:30, 11:45, 12:00 and finally about 12:15 we were called in.  Meanwhile everyone else in the waiting room was getting impatient, too.  We found out there had been some kind of emergency, plus they happened to be shorthanded and things got really backed up.  Understandable, but we mentioned that it would have been a matter of common courtesy to say there would probably be a wait of an hour or more, rather than "a few minutes".

Then after all that we found out they're so busy the operation can't be scheduled until the end of December or early January!  Gene was quite disappointed - he'd been hoping to get it taken care of much, much sooner than that.

We had planned to make a couple of short stops and then try to get pictures of all the churches in the Town of Corinth, for the website (so I can tear out more hair trying to set it up with Front Page  ;D), but it was so late we put off the pictures until another day.

Let's sing!

Just over in the glory land

I've a home prepared where the saints abide
Just over in the glory land
And I long to be by my Saviour's side
Just over in the glory land

Just over in the glory land
I'll join the happy angel band
Just over in the glory land
Just over in the glory land
There with the mighty host I'll stand
Just over in the glory land

I am on my way to those mansions fair
Just over in the glory land
There to sing God's praises and his glory share
Just over in the glory land

Refrain

What a joyful thought that my Lord I'll see
Just over in the glory land
And with kindred saved, there forever be
Just over in the glory land

Refrain

With the blood washed throng I will shout and sing
Just over in the glory land
Glad hosannas to Christ, the Lord and King
Just over in the glory land

Refrain

Jeanne Lee, I am sorry to hear about your experience today.  If they had a tv and other things besides 2 year old magizines it would be fine.  hmmm...I mean we adults like to have fun to while waiting just like the kids.  ;D

Carol~Thank you for the compliment on my photo of the girls walking hand in hand.  ;D

I am off to bed.  It has been a long day for me.
Night all!
