Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Kathy

hello to all...my name is kathy and I have been away for a while due to not being on-line.  The only time I get on is when I have to delete all my e-mail except special ones and when I got your new e-mail I just couldn't resist.  ::)
Marilyn, I am soooo happy for you in your new home.  God is good!  :)
Pat and the rest of you who went to the Gaither concert...I am jealous because I missed my trip this year due to the unexpected surgery on my broken leg/ankle.  The Gaither Homecoming singers are my favorite and when I get the least bit down, I put on one of their videos or DVD's and just sing along like I right there with them.
My biggest wish is to go on one of their cruises.  But, it doesn't look like I can afford anything like that in the near future.   :'(
This is long enough and I will be back to catch up on the rest of you.
God's blessings to all.

Hi all.

Marilyn, one good thing about getting a smaller place, you have to down size.  I have lots of "stuff" that I don't need, don't use, and need to get rid of.  Thing is, I can't remember who gave it to me, and if they, he, she would be hurt if I gave it away. :)

Jane, boy I can relate about the heat.  I've been keeping a close eye on everything since Kyle left.  I bought a gallon of Kerosene for my Monitor Stove and paid $5.95. ugh.  I won't do that again, but the oil people won't bring any until my tank is empty.  They want to be sure they get their money's worth, I guess.  I'm hoping it won't be empty for a long time. :)  This Monitor stove sure uses less oil(kerosene)than my old oil stove.

Maddy, if you come in here and read posts, WELCOME TO CP.  I saw your introduction.  I'm so sorry about the loss of your son.  I'm also so glad that our Father has been your Comforter and your Peace.  Only He could do that for you.
Bless you, dear sister.

Welcome back Kathy. :)

It is 11:09 and we are just home.  We had the kids to pick up from friends we enjoy visiting with.  It took longer that anticipated.

Janet glad you are home and rested!  way to go girl!

Yes we saw Mel for a few minutes, but the last song was an emotiional one for me and we wanted to get to the hotel.  WHAT A CONCERT!  ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

When we got to the hotel at 12:30 we were informed that where we parked the van, we would have problems in the morning as all the roads were closed for a bike race and a marathon.  John went to the van and no one was aroound so he headed out.  This time to a parking lot that should have had no roblems.   When he went to it in the morning after a short night he had to drive miles to get back to the hotel including driving the wrong way on a one way street.  It is something when cities are shut down for these events.

We went to church with our cousin, and then to dinner at oour aunts.  What a meal.  7 vegetables chicken 6 pies and cake, tea and juice.  We were stuffed.  Aunt Flo is 89 years old and did all the cooking/baking herself.  She is amazing. Well it is late we are tired and heading for bed.

Night all
Judy
