Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

The love of Christ is unquenchable; its flame can never be extinguished.  Nor can it be purchased, for its preciousness is inestimable. It cannot be bought or sold for its value cannot be assessed.

And yes, I do think I will be glad to slow down now and take a deep breath and relax. 

Today is the first Sunday for our new times at church.  So I should be home a lot earlier today.

good morning all.... its been a long day/night (been up since 11am yesterday morning)... debating as to whether or not to go to bed yet or not... anyways i need to do some homework and other things just thought i'd stop and post this morning.

Good Morning Everyone...

Well, I've had such a week and in some ways, it's nice to have it over.  It was lovely to see my cousin from Los Angeles though and yesterday we had cousins from British Columbia and Alberta as well as all of those who still reside around this part of Canada.

You'd all laugh though if you saw my face!  I have huge scratches across it.  Geordie was having such a good time playing with the little kids and they had him going through tunnels and down slides, etc. and when I walked over, he saw me and decided that he'd had enough fun and took a flying leap through the air to me and landed on my face! 

How are you all?

I am home from church.  Very interesting.  Great sermons.  And with the new time, I put gas in my car and stopped for lunch and still got home by 12:30pm. 

Are the weathermen all alike everywhere?  Yesterday they said rain for today.  There is a beautiful sun shining out right now.  Nice cool temperature with a gentle breeze.  A great day to sit outside with a good book.  Hmmmm!  That sounds like a great idea.  What am I doing in here on the pc?

Hello everyone.

It is a nice cool day here! 

I had a very enjoyable day yesterday with my Mom at the fall Bindertwine festival in Kleinburg.  The main street is closed and essentially it is a giant outdoor craft show.  We sat and watched the main stage show for a bit, step dancers and fiddlers.  The fiddlers were so good that I just had to spend the $20 for a CD.

Now must get off the computer and get a couple of things done and then relax with some knitting this evening.

we got some rain that moved through from about 4 til 6 this morning... i only know time cuz i had be out in it... we had a wreck last night that kept me up all night but its on cuz i got to sleep for awhile now i get to go get ready for work... always something i guess anyways i'm off ttyl

Oh, my....so many nice posts, and I am afraid to respond to many, as it is nearing time for a new page and I might lose my post.  So I will say we had a lovely weekend, culminating with the joy of watching dear little Abby being baptized this evening.  I took photos which I will post soon.
