I have just posted The baptism photos for Al.

About my appt.with the Physical Therapist. He tells me that my "S" curve in my back from the Scoliosis I was never properly diagnosed with as a 12-13 yr. old; is getting, more curvature with the shoulders curving forward and the lower back curving in. So that is what we are going to work on. Strengthening the muscles that have weakened, lengthening the ones that have to be lengthened., I will be going 2 times a weeks for 1 month and them more if it is needed. Creating a balance point and strething out my spine.

I have been going to the chiropractor since I was 12 and was only told in  my 30's "Oh my you had Scoliosis when you were younger"

So much I've learned in this one sitting! Sarah, I hope this is one of the best days of the rest of your life.

I have a toothache and am going to bed. Have early a.m. dental appt, so probably won't see y'all until tomorrow night (assuming I make it through the dental appt!).

I am going to go "batten down the hatches" as the rain is "supposed" to start tonight.

Hopefully, Ivan will change his mind and evaporate into thin air <karmat's wishful thinking>

If the weather holds, I am going to take Travis swimming (indoor pool) tomorrow, so it may be later when I get in here.

I know that this day is almost over â€" but, I do wish to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sarah and Darin and anyone else who had a birthday today.

Yes, Etta Mae, I still live in Dayton, Ohio where I was born. 

It’s been a busy day for me again.  I played with The Ukulelians this afternoon at a Dayton housing project for seniors called The Huffman Place.  It is an old elementary school that was converted into apartments.  Some of the apartments are really interesting and attractive â€" the school rooms were converted very advantageously â€" the cloak room into like a foyer, the main classroom into a sitting room, the cupboard into a kitchen, etc.  The one I saw had 18 foot high ceilings and tall windows with Venetian blinds â€" so much sunlight streaming in â€" it was so pleasant.

We had a sing-a-long program for the people who lived there and everyone had lots of fun singing the old tunes like Happy Wanderer, My Wild Irish Rose, He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands, etc.

Tomorrow we play at a Nursing Home near where I live.  It will be a Hawaiian Lua program complete with a Hawaiian Steel Guitar and Hawaiian dancer whose name is Leilani. This is also, always a fun program

Well, that’s enough talk for tonight â€" time to sleep and rest in God’s care â€" until the morrow.
