JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Al:  Thank you for your explanation on Eternal Security.  I certainly do believe in E.S. !
"I am too blessed to be stressed".

Janet

Skief, that was a very thorough explanation, and I thank you for putting it in here.

Judy, thanks for posting the story about hands, I really enjoyed that, too.  I love the song "My Daddy's Hands."  I do sometimes look at my hands and am amazed at the wonderful, awesome, creative mind of our Creator God.  What a design He had in making our bodies.  We are truly "fearsomely and wonderfully made."

Hi there, Karma!  I was thinking today that I don't think I thanked you for your suggestions re the food for Beth's party.  Thank you!  (I was pretty stretched out there for a couple of weeks!)  Glad you won't be getting flood damage.

Hi Marilyn!  Want to come defrost my freezer when you get yours done?  ;)

Hi, friends,

Too busy this morning to come for my morning's "attitude adjustment."

I want to print out the responses about Eternal Security and ponder over them, looking up the scriptural references.

Good question, Sarah.

Y'all have a good evening.

Ms Sarah I did have a wonder of this question you did ask too. I am happy to read so many most wonderful things to answer this.

I love you all SO SO very much.  ;D
Today it is September 7, 2004. It is a most fun summer for me for all my life. I did get to go to see some place that are only dream to me. I did get to meet some new friends in a far place and I did get to share a time with my family for most every day my time here. I did get to run on the beach and go for a very far on a boat. And I did get to share a time with friends I love with all my heart.

Every moment of every day I thank God for all that I love. I thank God for people and friends that help me in a prayers along my path. You all very close to my heart and a most special people in my life are my friends. It is a help to me to come and read here when I am sad. There is so much love here at the Christian Photographers it is a smile to my heart when I am sad.  :)

I have SO much things will change in my life for this year and I am sad for some but not a scared. I go back tomorrow to live in the Lhasa for many month.  :(  I did apply to come to live in the USA and I think it is long time to know if I can do it.  ??? I know they work to make it more easy for me to come back, but I think it is not easy for me yet.  :(

My sister Jenna will have a baby soon in the December and I am soon “aunt mi”   ;D 8) it is soon my only baby in my life and I am sad I can not be here for this most special day.  :-\  But I will have a celebration and thank God for a new joy of family to my sister and her husband. I miss her so much at times,  :-[  but I am SO SO happy to see her with a family and love all around.  8)  (I love you Jenna, with all my heart).

I wish to talk about each of you for 100 pages  :o  and thank you each for a time I treasure and A kindness you did share with me when I need a help. Many words each you did give to me and they are a help to me still today.  8) A giggle I will not ever forget when I was sad.  ::)  And a moment to share with a friend when they are sad and a want for them all the joy of the world at this time of sadness for them.  :-[ (please God watch over my friends, they are all I have)

It is my prayer tonight that each of you know how much I treasure you as my friend. I thank you all that you share a time with me here and I pray that you are all in a good health for many month and I will hope to come back to share a time here again soon when I can do it.

I love you all with all my heart.
And with all my heart,
I love you God.

I have been interested in reading the various beliefs which we have about whether a saved person can so sin and turn away from his faith which would cause him to be lost.

I believe that Skief’s explanation is the same as I would give.  Obviously there are different points of view and these are all based on how we read the Bible, what conclusions we reach.  We should be able to see the Bible alike but we don’t.  I hope that in our group this would not cause us to draw lines of fellowship.

There are many articles on this subject on the internet.  I would recommend this site:

http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_sava.htm

I do not know who is responsible for this article but I think it tries to give both sides of the question.

Eph 4:31-32  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.  (KJV)

I John 4:7-11  Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  (NIV)

MIEKA, you came in while I was writing.  I love you and I pray for you.  Thanks for sharing with us that you will soon be Aunt Mi.  Hopefully you will be able to return soon and be with your new niece or nephew.  God bless you Mieta!   ;D

Eph 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.(NIV)

Hi all...
First I want to thank Pat for sending out the monthly newsletter.  I think that's a great idea to keep us all informed - and if anyone has had a computer crash and lost all their info on CP, it's a good opportunity to get back into the group.
In my case, I've been working so many hours that I haven't had time to do much of anything.  But as of a week ago last Monday I was released from my job and now I have more time to spend with you.
Please pray that God would give me direction as to the type of job He would have me do.  I am discouraged and not highly motivated to enter into the JOB SEARCH arena (rat race) again.  I really wish I could retire and pursue my "hobby", but I guess I can't yet.
I pray the doctor will have wisdom in treating Pat and that she will quickly get well.

Pinkie so good to have you back. I got your email this morning and have saved your web site of photos.

So you are all through with the Hospice nursing, are you? That has to be a tough job  I  have had to deal with hospice once only with  of my clients before I moved last year. It was so sad to see him go so quickly. Right now I have a 95 yr. old lady and soon a 92 yr. old lady plus a 58 yr.old disabled diabetic with a large ulcer on her foot. Whenever the ulcer heals she will be out of the wheel chair. But I am getting tired and need to slow down for my own good and to do some things for myself that get put off to long.

On the 14th I will be evaluated for my Physical Therapy sessions.  I will go for 6 weeks, that is all the Insurance covers per year. My insurance is the same as Medicaid. Maybe after I get my medicare in Feb. I will be able to have  more. I am really looking forward to these sessions.

Pat another PSP class is starting October 3rd.

Dear sweet Mieka, you write so eloquently!  I love you so much and pray you can soon return to us.  Thank you for sharing some of your time with me.

Papa John, thank you for your words of wisdom.  I do hope we can disagree without becoming disagreeable.  There is much merit in both sides of the discussion.........I won't say who I agree with on it.  But I love all of you!

Good to see you, Nancy!  Good luck in finding a way to make the needed dollars.  I hope I never have to go back to work full time.

HAMMER 1958 (JOHN) WELCOME TO CP!!  sO GLAD TO HAVE YOU WITH US!

I'm about ready to call it a day!

Ohhhhh, my dear Mi!

I love you so much and have enjoyed our little chats on Yahoo.  As you know, my sweet Mieka, I pray for you daily and will continue to do so.  I will miss you so much but I do know that our Heavenly Father will travel with you to Tibet and keep you safe.  Please know that you are in the hands of such a wonderful Heavenly Father.  His hands are so precious.

Look after yourself my sweet Mi.  And when you can, please page me.

Lovingly,

Mum (your adopted Mum)  :'( :'( :'(

When I read skief's definition, I can't help but wonder if it is a matter of semantics.  To me, instead of clarifying that salvation can be lost, it describes a carnal Christian or one who is trying to live a Christian life without ever been saved.  Does that make sense?  I dunno.  I remember my BIL grew up in a Free Will Baptist church.  My sister had the attitude that if it kept him from "straying" by believing he could lose his salvation by sinning, then perhaps he would stay "straight."  He accepted Christ 4 or 5 years later, and realized that he had never been saved to begin with.  I suppose that is my take on it.  You "get saved," you "lose your salvation," you get saved again, etc. etc. etc.  To me, it seems you never surrendered in the first place.  But, that is just me. :-)

Francis is in Western NC.  We had about 7 inches of rain at our house today (TAS's inflatable swimming pool was empty this morning, full tonight).  Our driveway is a river (though a small one), and a couple of roads are closed.  I am about tired of the rain.  ;-)

Mieka -- I got your email last week, and keep intending to reply, and I will.  I promise.  My prayers go with you whereever you may be!!!

Love ya all, time for bed

Sue

I had a long and tiring day today, and was quite content to come home, come to CP and read while eating a late dinner.

Thank you Pat for the work you put into the Newsletter.

Time to call it a day I think.
Night all.
