Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Okay, so I ordered lunch from a local diner.  I specifically asked what time they quit delivering and he said 2.  Since it was 10 till, I asked if it was too late.  He said no.  I ordered.  He delivered.  So far, so good.

I paid him and gave him a VERY good tip.  Then, he told me I needed to order earlier next time.  I said okay, but that is not what I wnated to say.

Why didn't he just tell me it was too late to begin with??????

Thank  you for letting me vent.

Oh yea, the food was really good!!!!

Thanks, RUTH ANN for the message. :D
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

This IS a great day of thanksgiving!!  Go God......yes!  I agree Karma.  And go Papa John!  Go home and keep getting stronger and filled with more thanksgiving than ever before.

Jane and I just had a nice visit with AL and MARBETH.  It was really great! ;D.  We visited at a deli at Fred Meyer in Coos Bay.  Had our coffee, our fellowship and even prayer for my daughter, as she goes for her eye surgery on Thursday.  What a blessing.  Thank you for making us a priority on your trip, dear Al and Marbeth.  (we were a priority; weren't we??) ;D ;D

Sarah
happy thanksgiving to all you canadians i ate turkey along with ya'll!(school served it i ate it!)

JudyB

Chris and Margit.

I have tried many times to hear the music of the songs you post.  For some wierd reason I cannot.  Any suggestions?

Sarah

How I empathise. No matter how I tried I couldn't meet the grade expectations.  If you are getting in the high 80's that is good, it shows you are understanding the work.  Now ask God to bring to your memopry the answers you have studied and believe me he will!  Chemistry is an important subject and I believe your mom is just wanting to see you do the very best you can.  You go girl, we all know you can do it! ! !

Boots

Let me also give a belated Birthday wish to Karmat, of course I do not do the tricks on the screen so just a plain Happy Birthday.  ::) ::)

Let me also wish those north of the border Happy Thanksgiving Day.   ;D ;D

It is not our fault you all celebrate it a bit early. :-[ :-[
I think you folks do that in order to get the best Turkeys.

Seriously folks, every day is a day of Thanksgiving to our Lord for the blessings we receive but are not entitled to.

Now let me say Happy Columbus Day to any who celebrate it.  Down here below the border we observe Columbus Day today.  That is the day the Post Office closes and the Banks take a day of rest to print more money or what ever the Banks do when they take a day off.

It is also the day many stores have mattress sales or some kind of sales.  ;D ;D  Any excuse for a sale is what most stores are looking for.

So on this rememberance day of when Columbus ran aground in the West Indies or where ever, with out some one finding North America most of us would not be here today.  :( :( :(

I am happy Papa John will be coming home.
Have a nice afternoon.

Boots

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.

Sunday was the first in the series of 40 days of Purpose that Etta Sue's church is doing also.  It was very intersting., the Pastor then handed out key rings with the scripture verse: Eph. 2:10  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Title of message:  "What on Earth am I Here For?".  Etta Sue... is this what your Pastor preached on too?

Norm was sick., had to leave for home half way through church.  I then drove to my brother's home to spend Sunday Thanksgiving dinner with him.  This was the first I had driven my new car at night.  The drive was ok... I prayed all the way home that the Lord would watch over me, and my driving.

It was a beautiful day today... and a lazy one for us.  Other than going out for supper, we did nothing.

Glad to hear Papa John is doing well...this is such an answer to our prayers!

Just popped in to say I'm so glad to hear that you are coming home Papa John.

My parents and Aunt have just left for home after being here for Thanksgiving Dinner.  This will be one for the record books.  The dropsies abounded.  Dinner was still good even though it did get off to a rocky start getting to the table.

Time to shut down the computer.  I must tidy the kitchen a little bit, and then I think head for bed.  Morning is going to come soon enough and back to routine again.

I am really late today.  I have had a good, but busy, day.  We got the rest of the tile we have laid grouted, and most of the cabinets put back together and in place.

Curtis came..... ;D.......and he got my scanner working again, my pop up killer installed, and over 100 spyware things off my computer, so it should work lots better now.  We took him to Iris' Cafe for chicken fried steaks for supper, then he left for home.  I got lots of great hugs today! ;D  Sure do love that guy!!

I am really beat tonight, and my hands hurt from the tile work, so I think I will sack out early.  Not interested in the football game, anyway.

Ok Chris Why wasn't that link for me too? Then you even laughed about it.   :P :P :o 8) ;D

It has been a beautiful sunny day here on Californina's Northern coast. No wind, not too cold.

I caught Happydg on top of the fence again. I hope this is not going to be his new habit.

I am so glad to hear the good news from Papa John. Tomorrow he will be back at home.

I think I will go visit the g-kids for awhile. If I don't get back here tonight, I will see y-all in the morning.

So happy  to hear the good news about Papa John.   Let's all pray that he will continue to grow stronger and stronger each day.

Yesterday I was at my daughter's place, with the rest of my family there.   I am thankful to God for a wonderful family.   My daughter-in-law did not have her baby yesterday and that was good because she was a long way from home.  Thankful for that.

My 20 year old grandson was home from university for thanksgiving.   Thankful for that.

Thankful for my good health.    Thankful for a wonderful church.

Thankful for a sister and brother-in-law  Lorraine & Kamyl, who were missionaries in Mauritius, are now living a block away from me.

Thankful for a brother and sister-in-law  Ken & Joce, who love the Lord with all their heart.

Thankful that my brother Doug, who died when he was 39 years old, knew the Lord.

Thankful for Christian neices, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Thankful for godly parents who are now with the Lord.

Thankful that I live in the great country of Canada.

Thankful that God is continuing to answer prayer in wonderful ways.

Thankful for the gift of eternal life that my Saviour has given to me.

Thankful for CP.    Hope your list is a long one!

God bless

Love Ruthie ;) ;)

Ruthie:  You gave me some things to be thankful for as well.....including my "family" here on CP.

Thanks, Ruth, for reminding us of those many and meaningful things to be thankful for!

Boots -- Hahahaha.  I hope they didn't get all the good turkeys.  Of course, I saw a sweatshirt the other day that had a turkey on it holding a sign saying, "Eat PIZZA!!"  Hmmm, maybe not.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA! about Papa John.  WooHoO!

Sarah -- Hang in there.  Chemistry may not be fun (especially with a sinus infection), but I'm sure you will do well!

Janet -- Did Curtis enjoy his shicken fried steaks??  ;) ;) ;D ;D :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :-*

I hope everyone has a wonderful evening/night/morning!!

I was going to ask Janet the same thing, Karma about the shicken!!!

Well, my son and his family just went home.  Youngest son was going to come over when they got home from camping but they had a phone call from a father at whose home Rebecca was at a birthday party last Friday and the news was that his daughter has head lice!!!   :o :o :o  Now everyone who attended the party has to use special shampoo etc to try to make sure that they don't have them or else to get rid of them.  What a turmoil!

Now, it's time to lock this door.

I'm very tired tonight.

I'll chat with you all tomorrow.
