Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Hi everyone.  It is a nice sunny but cool morning.  We turned on our heat to remove the chill from the house.  It is 52? now but headed up to 70? this afternoon.  We stayed home all day yesterday and other than getting our house nice and clean since our cleaning lady was here, there is really nothing to write about.  It looks like today will be another of the same, which is fine with me.  The only thing I need to do this morning is grate up another pound of cheddar cheese.  I did just get the results of most of the lab work done yesterday and they all are fine.

Janet, you sure did have a busy day on Thursday.  I hope the sale of the facility where Beth is living proves to be a very beneficial one.  Change is always difficult.  It is really sad to lose so many cattle and it wasn't even the middle of winter.  I hope you had a good time at the dance recital of your great grandchildren.  Those are special events.  I did not get anything offering me a free gift (I feel left out--NOT).

Carol, so nice of you and the other neighbors to help the lady with the broken bones.  It makes a person feel good to be of assistance to another as long as it doesn't become expected.  We truly love living here and it is a great area in which to be retired.  When I went over to the hospital yesterday morning a little before 7 am there was only a few cars on the road, including the downtown Augusta area.

Carol

Larry:  She is a dear friend to both of us and just doesn't ask us enough.  The increase of the number of cars on the road here is stressing everyone.  It is so nice that you can have decent drives for your errands.

I bought all the fixings for cooking hot fudge sauce and some plastic containers.  We were not here at Christmas and I will see most of the children on Sunday so I know they will like the surprise.  Missing the holidays at home last year was really lonesome for us even though neighbors were kind and gentle in having us over.

Sorry I have been AWOL for a couple of days, i did come to catch up and red what all y'all have been doing but didn't have anything to say.
We did our Walmart run after I took freckles on a visit to the care home close by, There are two that are across the street from each other. Yesterday I made two loaves of bread that didn't turn out right, The last one I put back in the oven before I went to ,music practice and forgot about taking it back out before I left. When  I got home an hour and a half later it was burned to a crisp.

Marilyn...I too am guilty of doing that....going AWOL for a few days. like you, I have little of interest to say...but this morning I did go to church, very few attended as it wasn't a Holy Communion service, well not at this church, but being held at one or two of their other three village churches that are in their " circuit..."....well I have finally done it, put my name down for a reading, not sure for when but I told her maybe best for my first time on a day like today, when only a few there...I am confident with my reading, I was always one of my school class top readers just I told her my confidence will be in actually walking to it on the day, she said not to worry they have ways and means of bringing it closer if need be...

Larry Hanna....I guess what we dont have we dont miss, re, your free gift... ;) :)

Hi everyone.  We have a clear sky and pleasant temperatures this Sunday morning.  Pat and I are going to go to Sunday School and Church this morning.  This is our Children's Sunday in Church where they participate in a large part of the service. Following Church we will go somewhere to eat or pick up something to bring home for our main meal of the day.  I plan on watching the end of the PGA Golf Tourney later this afternoon.

Carol, I bet your hot fudge sauce is delicious and that your family will really appreciate its special homemade taste.

Marilyn, it sounds like you made a loaf of toast rather than bread.  :)  Too bad the bread didn't turn out as you wanted.

Jackie, glad to see you are taking a more active part in your Church service.  It seems to me I always get more out of something when I contribute something to it. Will you be reading from the Bible or Liturgy?  You are right about not missing something we don't know about.  :)
