Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Hi everyone.  Janet, please put me on the list for those interested in your trip report.

While I was at coffee a few minutes ago Pat called me to tell me our daughter is back in the hospital and may have had another heart attack during the night.  Her enzymes are elevated and they are going to do another cath on Monday.  They couldn't take her to the hospital where she has health care, i.e. Grady, as it was full so took her to the hospital across the street from where she lives.  So she will have another $40,000 bill at least.  The positive thing is that they don't refuse the care she needs even though she will never be able to pay the bill.  This is the 5th or 6th heart attack she has had and she seemed to be doing well after the heart surgery.

We have been planning to go to Florida on Tuesday.  Right now our plans are in limbo and we won't make a final decision until the cath is done and we know what the situation with her is.

As far as I know now we won't go to the hospital today as there is nothing we can do.  She was suppose to see a doctor regarding her disability application on Monday so obviously that must be rescheduled.

I know she would and we, as her parents, certainly would appreciate saying a prayer for her.

Sarah

hello all i'm still around up and almost ready for the day... hope ya'll have a good one i know mine will be long! ttyl

Larry, I too am sorry to learn of your daughter's latest heart attack.  I know this concerns you and Pat so much, and is frightening for your daughter as well.  I will pray for all of you, that she has a good outcome from the cath on Monday.  Sometimes I guess it must feel like life is a delicate balance and we never know what we will be faced with next.  Thank the Lord that He is in total control and we can trust in His care and love for us.

God bless today.
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.   Ps 118:24

Larry ~ So sorry to hear of Stacy having another heart attack.  I know you and Pat are very concerned as well as Stacy.

Janet ~ Put me on your list.  I love traveling through others  words.

I am one that doesn't watch the news.  I believe I would be so depressed if I watched the news every day.  I do know there are a lot of businesses closing so beware if you purchase Gift Cards for loved ones for Christmas presents this year.  The businesses may not be available when they want to redeem them.

It sure is raining here today and cold.  May even turn to snow later.  Brrrr and Grrrrr!  Not much happening today here.  Just staying in and keeping warm and dry.  Plan to do some mending later on the sewing machine and then some crocheting.  Is anyone else crocheting on their afghan?

Larry, as others have expressed their concerns, I also want to let you know I am praying for Stacey as well as you and Pat ... this has to be a pretty rough road for you (all) to travel.  I know our Father has everything in control ... He will hold you steady until the storm passes by.   :)
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

[b :)  Larry:  I am so sorry to here about your daughter and that she has had an other heart attack I do hope that there is something that they can find when they  check her on Monday.  We will remember you all.

:)  Janet:  Please put me on your list and my email address is on my profile. It sounds like a trip you will never forget.

My wife and I are continuing to have doctors appointments and it seems to get to a point that you just get fed up going as they don't give you any good answers.  We know that our Heavenly Father is in control and he looks after us.

We hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and a great day in the Lord's house. <3  Gord and Noreen

Larry I pray for  Stacey, Liz's Wendy and Janet's Beth just about daily.

Janet please put me on your list for the report.

We have been working on the house today.  was sweeping the fascia along the front, cutting back some overgrown ferns. etc. wE are going to do some painting this afternoon.

I took a pretty bad fall done the back step  yesterday, good thing Keith was right there. It was after Jane brought me back from the Nursing home where we sang yesterday.  We were going done the stairs to get wood to bring in for a fire when  slipped on the step and went done on my behind pretty hard. I am OK though thank you Jesus.

This evening we are going to eat homemade Mexican dinner of Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish rice and Refried beans.

Well I better get off the computer and get busy.

Hi everyone.  It is certainly much cooler, but sunny, here in Georgia.  However, it is that time of the year where we have to expect colder weather.

Pat spoke with our daughter a little while ago and she had another episode of chest pain during the night.  They will definitely do the cath tomorrow sometime as the doctor is concerned that the bypass may have blocked up.  Thank you all for the prayers as they are certainly appreciated.  God is in control of this situation and I am trying not to worry as he has seen her through so many of these problems these last couple of years.

I have to go to church early today to have the chance to practice the Thanksgiving music that we just got Wednesday night.  This will be a joint service with a combined choir from several churches.  I have sung in these choirs the last couple of years and really enjoyed it.  However, we are not singing familiar music so will have to do some work to get ready.  Our director offered to meet with us early today to help us.

We will likely go out to lunch today with our church friends and then spend a quiet rest of the day.

Marilyn, glad you were not hurt in the fall.  I expect you will be feeling it today.

Janet

Happy Sunday, everybody!

We had our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner after church today.  I took a plate up to the home and fed Beth.  It was good, of course!  8)

Larry, so sorry to hear of Stacey's current problems.  I will keep praying for all of you there.  I'm glad you are trying not to worry, and know the only way that is possible is through trusting in God.  You cannot worry and trust at the same time.

I will now email my trip report to the ones of you who have asked.  Hope you enjoy it.

Janet thank you for the report from your trip it is very interesting and I will read it again.

My rear end is not as sore today as  yesterday but the bruise if horribly dark purple and large.  I will be leaving here in the morning to head on home to my doggies. I called yesterday to see how they were doing they are fine, I sure do miss them when I am away from home.

Keith is doing some touch up painting on the house today and I am doing  what ever I see than needs doing, like bringing in wood for the fire place m, feeding the cat, peeling the potatoes for supper tonight etc.

Thank you, Janet, for your trip report.  Very interesting.  Something there for everyone!

A very busy day with church and then us ladies ate at Texas Roadhouse.  Ivalou and I went back to Noblesville once we got home to do some shopping for Thanksgiving and our Secret Sisters.

I got home and made a Thanksgiving card for my Secret Sister and got her package already to take Thursday night when I got to a Projection Team meeting.  Then I printed a photo and framed it for one of my classmates.  Her husbands picture and his '57 Chevy was on display at the Visitors Center in Anderson, Indiana.  After 60 Chix I went there and asked if I could take a picture of the picture.  She said she couldn't give me permission but turned to leave the area and said 'Have a good day!!' and winked.  So I took several pictures of the picture.  So now it is printed and framed for a surprise for Jayne!

It sure gets dark early since changing the time, doesn't it?

Now that it is dark early, it is time for a new area to post for the week of November 16.  It is all clean and sparkly here.
