Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

I would change "nice pat on the back" to SMALL pat on the back!  Be good!

Carol

I just went to tell Don something and found him snoozing.  It is 95 degrees F. outside & we have been to several stores with granddaughter.  We took Elise to Panera's and each had a bagel.  She is playing a game on the laptop.  Giving mucho thanks for air conditioning, how on earth did I have two babies in this heat without air or even a fan?

Janet:  Good Girl!

Larry:  I forgot to mention Happy Anniversary to you - I think it is our 43rd. coming in Sept.  Thanks for the input - we now have a new addiction & it is the music from Pandora.  Don put in Sarah Brightman.  We let Elise put on her own music station as well, not our type but not too wild either.

Judy B:  Hello - nice that your van was fixed so quickly.

We are opting to go to early morning worship tomorrow as it will be cooler inside church and once per month we have Praise Band and Don can hear everything those days   then will meet daughter at lunchtime to hand over our darling girl.  We will all be together on Thursday night to have a combined birthday celebration for the grands.  Of course, it will be late enough that we will have to  :D stay overnight with one of the kids.  We went to the thrift shop for a sale today and I bought a great deal of new sheets for backing and thread for tying quilts, the next bunch goes to a reservation but I just can't deal with the heat at this time of the year.

Photobro:  I just read your message on the sidebar, you have probably had surgery this week - my prayers for a very good recovery for you!

Hello Miss stranger (Pat)! We have missed you. Yo haven't been around very much.

Happy is home from the groomer and he looks and smells so nice. They took off all his feather from his hind legs and a few inches off his coat.  We stopped by the vet to weigh both of them Bebe has lost 7 lbs on her diet so she now weighs 63 lbs and Happy lost 4 and weighs 71. I wonder why she lost more than he did.

I took Bebe all over with me this morning then for a walk when we got back home.

I downsized in the shed a little bit and looked in one of the tubs for some fabric. Now that Know where the fabric is that I want I will get it the next time I feel like setting up the machine and making a baby quilt.

Someone I grew up with, in fact she was the daughter of the minister in our little church, sent the following to me just now and as soon as I viewed it I wanted to share it with you.  Just click on the following link:

Hi, friends,

A difficult week, but it's over now, so maybe next week will be better.

Heather, I thought I recognized your name. May the peace of our Lord be with you.

Janet, I understand carpal tunnel pain. Sorryyou're dealing with it.

I can't remember all posts, but just wanted to let y'all know I love you.

Oh, by the way, here's a little grin for you. I was talking with a friend on the phone while I was in a public ladies restroom. As we hung up, I said, "I love you." And, a lady passing my stall said, "I love you, too!"

I laughed, and said I could use all the love I could get, and she said, well, you ARE Grace, aren't you??? And I said no that's not my name, but I certainly enjoyed her response.

So we had a good laugh, and I left feeling lighter in spirit for that funny exchange.

And, just so y'all know, I LOVE YOU, TOO!  ;)
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

That is a lovely link, Larry.  Thanks so much for sharing that with us.

Ruth Ann, that had me giggling.  I can just imagine that happening!

Hi Marilyn...

Yes, life for me lately has been very hectic.

I give a needle every thurs. to my friend's mother.  Well the last couple of weeks has been terrible as she's gotten very ill and we've had her to the hospital several times, twice they admitted her and then we got her home and I've been trying to help with the administering of morphine, etc.

So, the last thing on my mind has been the computer.

I just telephoned Gail now and said, "How's Mum?" and she said, "She's sitting here beside me watching tv."  That's a first.  So that's good.

Larry, I certainly meant to say this earlier today:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

And that indeed was an interesting video.

Nita

Thanks for the information on audio Bibles.  I'll check out your link Judy.  Not that I could afford it. lol  But just in case...

Marilyn, I'm headed to see Bebe's new haircut.

I'm tired tonight.  It's felt like a long day for some reason.  Nita

Hi everyone and hope it is a wonderful Sunday for you all unless Sunday is over where you are.  We had a wonderful slow rain most of the night I think.  I have no idea how much we got but whatever was appreciated.

We will go to church this morning and probably out to lunch.  Later this afternoon I will take our daughter back to her apartment.  She gets to start her new job tomorrow and is looking forward to it.  Don't think there is anything else on the agenda.

We had a nice shrimp dinner last evening to celebrate our anniversary.

Nita, I think the CDs of the Bible sold for about $40 as I remember, but they were on sale at a reduced price.

Pat, it sounds like you have had your hands full.  Hope the lady is better and your life will be more manageable.

Ruth Ann, that was a funny incident.  Thanks for sharing.

Marilyn

Nita Bebe didn't get a hair cut she has short hair. Happy got the haircut and bath.

I woke up about 3:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Ruth called at 4:16am and I told her it was still dark outside so she went back to bed.  I really don't want to unplug my phone as there could be an emergency in my family. I did removed the corded phone and so that one won't ring, it was the loudest and startled me the most. Sometimes I get calls at night for prayer since I am on the prayer team.  I choose to be available at any time day or night if someone needs prayer. So unplugging my phone is not an option. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Please pray for Linda Blair and a woman named Glory, these two are in the last stages of cancer. Glory had her tongue removed earlier this year and is on her death bed. Linda has cancer throughout her whole body is is on her death bed also. Pray for their families to release them in  Jesus hands. These ladies are relatives of people in my church.

Please pray also that I will be able to get another job quickly if Ruth goes into a Board and Care home, which it looks like that is going to happen soon.

Welcome Mistman!!!

Coffee is brewing - we have a later service at 9 during summer hours.  I really don't like to change the time for anything but apparently everyone in the world seems to think we need to change hours for the summer.

Nita:  So, your day seemed longer than normal.  And, sometimes the day just flys.

Not enough sleep last night and I am ready to order one of the little electronics that mimics so-called white noise, we had that at the cabin last week & used the river noise the most.  I did sleep so well without waking.  Another gadget and I am trying to not buy into these things.

Larry:  Enjoy your morning & lunch with your daughter.  Best wishes to her in the new job.  Our daughter is looking for another job now as well, slim pickings but at the same time, there is a need for her to handle grandson.  The Lord will lead no matter what we think should happen.

Nita the download of the Bible is free!  Isn't that wonderful!

Happy Anniversary Larry!

We didn't go to church today.  This is very unusual for us.  John didn't get hme till midnight, and it was 2:00 a.m. before he finished his paperwork.  Yesterday was a long day for him, within the logbook laws, but long non the less.

Well Have a good day folks, I am off for now.  I am still having server problems so I am posting while I can.

  God Loves You

Our pastor told us to go out and tell someone this week that God Loves You - so I am doing what I have been told.  Granddaughter loved our Praise Band service.

Nita:  I was going to mention that thrift stores often have bible on tape.

Judy B:  Our family had a missionary from New Tribes living with us for almost a year & he loved to go hunting - when asked by my aunt, how can you miss church, he replied, I take the Lord with me.  Sometimes things happen so it makes it impossible to get to church - we have Wednesday nights too but not in summertime.

We're doing the "Pick of the Clicks" folks but we want many to take part and not just one or two.  So here's a link:

I am back from Ohio all baseballed out!!  I finally got to see Erik pitch and he was designated hitter in a couple of games.  He missed it a tiny little bit to making a home run.  His team lost two games and won two games.  They still are going to the State tournament starting next week!

I had a great time with the itty bitty baby.  Adrian is 4½ months now.  There is certainly nothing wrong with his hearing or his sight and when he gets those tiny little hands in control, watch out!  He tries so hard to get things in his hands and of course, when he does, it goes right into his mouth.  Even his own arm!  And he wrings his little feet all the time...he will have very strong ankles...those little feet are in motion all the time.  He starts fussing and you know his diaper is clean and his tummy is full and you lay him in his bed and he goes sound asleep.  Doesn't like to be held to go to sleep!!  He sure is a cutie!

It will be nice to get into my own bed tonight.  For some reason, I can't get on Outlook Express to get my email so I tried getting web mail and still couldn't do it so I am thinking it is my ISP.

I have to go first thing in the morning to get my car maintenanced and tires rotated.
