Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

The nice birds are singing so sweetly outside and it is cool and sunny.  Too bad a raspy Starling has a nest by our front door with two screeching children - they are so irritating and I am the only one in this house hearing them..

Have a wonderful day or nighttime.

Carol

Hi everyone.

Not much new since I posted yesterday.  We stayed home all afternoon and evening and I actually watched about 2 1/2 movies on the Hallmark Channel last evening with Pat.  They had some very nice movies.  Of course, I was also working on a project on my laptop at the same time.

I will be going to church in a little bit.  Not sure whether Pat will feel up to going as seems to be hurting all over this morning with her fibromyalgia and every time she moves she hurts.  Maybe after a little bit she will feel better.

We don't have anything else on the schedule for today so it will be a nice day of peaceful rest, unless God has something else in mind for us today.

Nita, I am afraid that my pet would have had to go hungry at times if he had to wait for me to make his food from scratch.  You have a couple of lucky little dogs.  I couldn't help chuckle when I saw the name of one of your dogs was Tyson and you fix chicken especially for them.  Ironic.

Marilyn, glad you were able to have a quiet day yesterday and also that your business is doing well.  It sounds like your participation in the health fair was very beneficial to you.

Welcome back Etta Sue, glad you had a nice trip and got to see a lot of dancing, even if it wasn't at a high level.  The little baby boy sounds like a doll.

Karmat, I am surprised at the new battery didn't work and it makes me wonder if your power supply might be going bad.  I had to replace one on the laptop I had before this one.  Of course, I usually had the computer hooked up to it, as I do now, so the power supply gets a lot of use.

Carol, I doubt if it would be a typical quilting bee if there wasn't one person who had to dominate and be sure everyone knows of her woes.  It takes all kinds to make life interesting.  Nice you could go out to eat together.  Sitting around a table really helps people get to know each other better.  We dine out quite often with friends and it is very enjoyable.

Hope this is a fine day for everyone and that more of our friends will have time to stop by and say hi today.

Colin

Hi everyone from a quiet Ulster man....ok..call me Irish if you want but Pat knows better! I read your comments Pat on my photos of the Giants Causeway and did think of you when I was posting them. I posted four of Glenariff forest glen in Co. Antrim just a moment ago. If you would like to visit Jeannine and my website you will see we have it revamped and the Giants Causeway is now used as our background for the pages. www.colinsfaithinspirations.com/  We also have busy putting a dvd together...a sample of which can be viewed on our site.
I have been here now and again reading...though never commenting...though I did let out an odd shout! I pray for you all and I know each one of you has something different to deal with in your lives....whether it is illness operations or whatever. Take care. Be back later....Colin

I am home from church and after church I ate again at Taco Bell.  I am turning into a chalupa!!  Danny, the youth minister, wasn't there at church today.  One of the other ministers took his place.  I have already asked God to forgive me for nodding off a few times.  Short night night before last and didn't have time last night to make up for it!  God knows!

I should have filled my car with gas in Ohio.  $2.96.9 there.  I filled up in Greenfield for $3.11.9.  Geesh!!

Now I plan to get caught up here and then see if I can get caught up on that lost sleep!!  ZZZZzzzzz!!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Happy Birthday Pat   I will be calling you!

This has been a busy weekend.  John preached this service,  There were a couple of hickups, but all in all he did quite well.

I got some really disturbing news today.  A young man (39) had a heart attack on Tuesday.  He has lost his licence, and was released from hospital today with 6 different medications.  We don't know when he will be going back to work, he will meet with the specialist this week.  He has three children.  Please pray for this family as they navigate the waters of heart problems.

Larry you are so right.  I love country life.  It has been interesting watching the cycles the chicks go through.  They cheep cheep loudly when they are hungry.  We feed them (alot) and they eat madly.  They want to make sure they get all the food before the others get any!  Then they all drink, again alot, and soon go to sleep for an hour or more only to begin the cycle again.  Boy do they ever eat alot.  I thought we fed the dogs a lot, they have nothing in comparison.  We can see the growth daily.

Well I must go.  I will be back later.
Praying for y'all

Hi, friends,

I needed the weekend to regroup and revitalize. It's good to feel better and to know that y'all are here, are my friends, and that we all pray for each other.

Pat, truly I hope this day has been a good one for you. God bless you as you begin a new year with Him.

Y'all have a good remainder of the day.

Ruth Ann

Colin You are such a nut!  I am 9 years younger so what does that meke me???

These chicks and our dog are so funny to watch.  They are old enough that they can jump out of the swimming pool.  Here goes Cimi running around the tub nosing them back in as they jump up on the edge.  If one gets out she will watch it till one of us gets it.  Spaniels are bird dogs, and I never thought she would actually be a protector.  She has so much enjoyment looking after her babies!

We have about 5 more lessons left in science and 2 tests in Bible, then we are done with school.  I am giving the girls supplementary exercises in math and english over the summer to keep them keen.  All my excess materials are up for sale so that reduces what is in my book cases which are overloaded.

I am off a lot to do today.

Love all of you, have a good day and I am praying for each need.

Pat

Wow!  Was so busy with the kids that I didn't even get a chance to come in here and see your good wishes!

Thanks so much.

My goodness, Marilyn!  That photo of me was taken by Jack back in 2000.  We had just got the camera the day before and we went to LaSalle Park for lunch after dialysis to try it out.  So I took some of him and he took some of me.  What fun!

Colin, at the bottom of the main forum page, it says who's birthday it is.

And didn't you write me a poem????????

Anyway, folks, time to lock the door.
