JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Hi everyone.  Another overcast morning but suppose to see the sun later this afternoon and a possibility of a shower this evening.  It is suppose to reach 77 degrees here today.  Nothing out of the ordinary on schedule for today.  I have my Monday men's luncheon and we are going to Red Robin.  They have really tasty hamburgers.  I need to find the barber today and also may need to go to Aldi's for Pat.  That will be a full day and then have a meeting this evening.

Carol, it seems everything in the grocery store is going up on a weekly basis.  Kroger had a head of cauliflower priced at $3.99 the other day.  I just wonder how families can afford to feed their families.  We lost our youth minister a few months ago and now we are seeing very few young people in our church service.  I just hope they are attending the contempory services.  We do have an interim youth minister.

We sang a most beautiful and meaningful anthem yesterday.  It was "For the Love of God".  I tried to find it on the web but had no luck.

Janet, I like your positive attitude about your home situation.  Just take it a day at a time and one of these days you will find the project is finished.

Ruth Ann, we love you too.

What happened to the format I had yesterday?  I didn't have the sidebar on the left yesterday.

I think there is an advantage to being lyric illiterate!  At church I think, this is a new song...and then I recognize the music as it being one that Mom used to play on the piano.  It's new to me....but then, some songs are new to me even when I heard it last week!  If the music is nice, I love the song!

I drove to Ivalou's yesterday...she didn't come out.  I honked the horn....she didn't come out.  I turned off my car and used her house key to go in the house.  I yelled, 'Lucy!'  Finally I heard her...she was still in bed.  Seems she went to her son's the evening before.  She fell asleep in the chair when she came home.  She woke up at 2am and went to bed.  A 'J' night from then on and finally fell asleep around 7am.  So she missed church.

Church was awesome with the message being about our Church Family.  Great message.  Sunday School message was about Adam and Eve.  Love the story of Adam and Eve.

I didn't go out to eat since Kaye Don's fish fry was to be at 2pm.  But I went to the convenient store in Lapel and got a cappuccino and a donut.

The fish fry was superb.  Great fish and the other foods were fantastic.  I saw one lady leave with a ziplock bag of my Candy Crackers.  Her mother is in the hospital so she was taking them to her.  She said they are starving her Mom!!

Marge called me last evening and asked if she could come down and look at my computer.  Her granddaughter, Alicia, is 'Shipmate of the Week' in the Coast Guard this week.  We found the website easily and I printed out the article.  I saved the picture of Alicia to my computer and then made it a 5"x7" and printed it for her so she can frame it.  I love doing things for people like that.

Today is a nothing day.  I have taken the trash to Kaye Don's drive.  And I have a pot of Chili Soup on the stove!  The house smells soooo good.  It is rainy and dreary out so the soup will be a great comfort food.
