Hi everyone.  It is going to be another very hot day, getting up to 91 degrees.  It is now officially summer so guess we have to expect very hot days and it is looking like this will be a very hot summer.  I will go to coffee in a little bit but may then decide to stay in where it is cool the rest of the day.  The heat really seems to sap my energy this year.  I don't think Pat has anything on her schedule for today. 

Janet, it appears that it was just you at least after I posted yesterday.  Those little ones are so enjoyable but also very tiring.  Hope Darrel treated you to a great dinner last night for your birthday.   

This has been a long week.  We have a new dog pen up so Zeke is no longer tied.  He is a big boy now and a lovable guy who thinks he is still a lap dog.

We are heading out today to help friends finish a house they have been building (over 3 years) for their daughter and her children.  She should be moved in very soon. 

Our weather has been unsettled, lots of heat and rain.  An area around Barrie had a G2 tornado rip through the community.  Many are now having to deal with rebuilding and a big mess.  This was the 3rd confirmed tornado this year.

John has a medical today for his drivers licence, so Have a good day everyone!

Another Saturday already!  I have been up since about six, had lots of trouble getting to sleep last night, as I was very sore from the last three days' workouts!  I went and got into the hot tub for about 25 minutes, and today I am so much better!  Thank you, Lord!  Almost evedry move I made yesterday was painful!

We have been in the garage continuing the clean-up, and making good progress.  I came in for a SHORT break, and Darrel followed, but he turned on the TV and is now immersed in Westerns.      I doubt I can get him back out in the garage at all today, but I can hope!  In the meantime, my body is crying for a break, so I think I will rest a while.

It is really hot here too, Larry, and the wind is blowing.  You know how I love the wind!  NOT.

Janet, I'm so sorry I missed telling you happy birthday here. Hope this new year will bring many joys.

I've been staying pretty busy, so am taking a lazy Saturday. There's a movie every Saturday afternoon here in the apartments, and I think I'll mosey on down there and enjoy it with friends.

Janet looks like you and John and I have all had "J" nights!

We filled up the Explorer today.......$100.01....... The price since the liberal win has gone up 15 cents per liter.  We are now paying $5.51 per US gallon.

Looks like traveling will be at a minimum this summer!
