Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

It was not on mine but one I was working on for someone else. I find all kind of things Carol. I keep mine clean. I had one last week that must have had 25 tool bars, I hate those things. It had so many when the browser opened it filled the screen almost full. Most of the time when they bring them to me they already have so much on them that they will hardly work. Some of them will not work at all.

Judy I'm glad John made it home .

Thank you Jesus and Praise God, Happy does NOT have cancer, but does have a raging bladder infection and will be on stronger antibiotics.  Thank you for your prayers.

Hi Folks. Well finally home after a long week battling the elements. Will be home now for a week, so maybe the weather will settle a little after the end of this next week. It would sure be nice to get a trip south where it is a little warmer. I know my back would sure appreciate that. The winds have been horrendous this week. Coming through Illinois yesterday the temperature was such that the wind was blowing the fog off the fields across the highway making visibility almost impossible in places. Even after all the rain that fell in that area the winds dried the snow so quickly that we ended up dealing with blowing snow in places as well. My concern is always in those conditions that if the temperature does a sudden drop then the roads could flash freeze into ice. Thank God that wasn't the case yesterday. The I had snow and blowing snow the last 90 miles of the ride home today. Had a great visit yesterday with an old paster friend who had a new cell phone for me. It was great to see him and talk about things of the past as well as present and future. This man has been a great friend over the years and we have sort of been accountability partners for each other. His spiritual gifting mellows mine and my gifting helps him gain another perspective in many areas. We always have a great visit. Well I'm going to go for now. I will be home all week so stay tuned for more posts through the week Blessings everyone.

Gord, good news about your wife's impending surgery.

Marilyn, good news about your beloved doggie. They mean SO much to us and become part of the family.

Judy, be careful out there in that blizzard.

Don, it's good to see you commenting again - we miss you when you're not here.

Ruth, don't feel like I was giving you a hard time about the Olympics, just a friendly joke between friends - that's all.

Wow! Carol, lots of walking. I'm afraid I would have to stay home because of the disconnect between leg muscles and leg nerves. I don't know when the muscles are too tired to continue walking, which causes some pretty hard falls. I'm just very thankful the Lord allows me to walk to the car, short distances, etc. So, I tailor my activities according to what I think my legs can tolerate.

Janet, here's hoping the learning curve isn't too steep for you with the new phone. It's really amazing all the great things they are programmed to do these days. My son and I were just talking about that this afternoon.

John - it's good to see you here, also. Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend.

It's been so good to "participate" in the Olympics. I'll be so sad to see them end - what a display of strength and dedication and zeal they show as they compete!

Larry, I was glad to have warm weather this afternoon as I fiddled around doing a bit of shopping, etc. :)

May our Lord bless all who come here real good.

Hi everyone.  We are suppose to have another beautiful day.  I had a great night's sleep and didn't wake up until 7 am this morning, which was nice.  I plan on attending church this morning and then will pick up my SIL at the airport at 3:30 today.  Yesterday, we were able to give our used kitchen range to a lady who had a stove on which only one burner worked and the oven didn't work.  We were happy to have it go to someone who really needed it.  We now have walking room in our garage.

Janet, glad you got the phone issue resolved and nice not to be tied to a contract.  If you can't figure something out let me know and I will see if I can help you.  Before I got my iPhone I had a Samsung Galaxy.  It is basically menu driven and is a powerful computer you hold in your hand. I am sure you will be relieved to have your reconstruction work completed.  You all have been a good customer for Lon.

Don, I can't image staying up until 3:30 am.  UGH!  I sure agree with you on toolbars and almost immediately uninstall any I see have been able to sneak in an install.  You really have to watch the installation programs anymore.

Marilyn, good news on Happy.  No wonder the poor fellow didn't feel well.

John, sounds like you had a really tough trip home but sure glad you have a few days off now to recoup.

Carol, nice you are within walking distance.  I am having the same problem with spelling and seem to make a lot of typos.  I am glad we have spell check available.

Judy, does the heavy snow ever break the tree limbs.  Hope John was able to rest up last night.  I am sure he enjoys just being home and off the road for a little bit.

Ruth Ann, we have to know our limits and you sure don't need another fall.  We are having nice weather and see you are also.
