Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

I am glad that we have the affect/effect dilemma solved.  It was affecting my mentality!  Now if that is wrong, I am done being affected by it!  The effect I am getting isn't worth it!

I had another Saturday night sleepless night.  So I got up and finished reading a book instead of wrestling the covers.  I maybe got 4 hours sleep.

But I am ready for church now and Ivalou is going also.  I don't think she has been to church since July.  Her name was in last weeks bulletin to be greeter this week and she is going to be greeter!  She will sit in a chair and said she would hand out the bulletin instead of shaking hands with her right hand!  She's a trooper!

Looks like a foggy morning now that it is beginning to be daylight.  I looked at the thermometer and it is right at 32°F.

Go Colts!!!!  And I am not a football fan but had to watch the end of the game last night!  20 to 3 against the Ravens.

I will be back later to open a new week!

Ya'll behave now!

Good morning!  It looks like another day of "hazy" sunshine, but we may be getting above freezing again, for the second day in a row.  I could get used to that in a hurry,   :D

Etta Sue, that's great that Ivalou in planning on not only getting to church, but to be a greeter as well.  Don't forget to let us know how she does.

Al Moak

The effect was great.  It really affected her.

Jeanne Lee

OK, Al. That's a good example.  Maybe we've got it now, ya think?

Good Morning one and all who enter today. It is still overcast and rain is coming, but not here at the moment.  Nothing much new here but thought I should check in anyway. I pray you all will have a very blessed day.

This has been a rough end to a rough end of the week.  Luca has gone.

Church was good.  There was a baby dedication.

John leaves today for MN again.  He is getting to know the upper peninsula of Michigan quite well.

Got to go.

Bread is in the machine and today will be an egg and milk heavier loaf called Challah.  Meat is thawing and that will be a chili in the crockpot.  I am looking out the window and see a neighbor coming back from a walk - he was in WWII and Bill fought in the South Pacific at all of the horrific little islands.  He is the happiest person to meet.  By going to the 7:30 AM service, we are home so early that I finished sewing a quilt top today and now the real finishing begins with back & batting. Yesterday, I cleaned and reorganized my sewing room.
Don is watching the Vikings play and we have lots to get ready as we will be staying nights with grandson while his parents are in Hawaii.  There is a dog so staying there is easier and school to think of as well.  It is about a 30 minute drive from here.

Our church is in the black again and that was great news.  A special offering today for World Vision - Haiti.  It wouldn't surprise me at all that a group will go at some time to Haiti - perhaps to rebuild.

Janet

Etta Sue, as the guy said in My Fair Lady, "By George, I think she's got it!"  Good job!  And great to hear about Ivalou, she has grit, for sure.  If she were a different type of person, she wouldn't be making the wonderful progress she is.

We have another nice day here today.  Still so dry, though.

Carol, I have never lived anywhere they had the early services, but I can see there would be advantages to going early.

Darrel is watching football, and I think I will find something to eat!

We plan to attend a ballroom dancing class at 4:00 today.  Should be fun!  :)

So much for almost springlike weather!  There was just a warning of Winter Advisory - snow, sleet and possible freezing rain.  Accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and maybe a "light" coating of ice.  The temperatures are expected to be high enough to make the snow heavy, leading to downed branches and wires.  Ah, joy!   :o

Etta Sue

Oh, Jeanne.  I don't like to hear of that kind of weather anywhere!  Too many problems can arise.

Ivalou had a great time being greeter.  I went on into the sanctuary and got many while the people were smiling and walking to their seats.  She even stayed for Sunday School and even participated!  That means she commented on a few things.  Then 6 of us gals went to a BBQ place that none of us had been to before.  Really good!
