Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Yes, both Marilyn and Pat seem to be re-energized. I think that's wonderful!

May the Lord guide and strengthen and give wisdom and understanding to you both.

I was at the same time pained and very privileged to be able to visit with a lady from our church who is in hospice. The room is very nice - it will be a good place for her as long as she is with us. I don't believe she'll be here more than just a few more days.

While a deeply devoted Christian, she has always been very fearful, likely caused by her extremely poor vision (she was educated at the school for the blind and wears glasses thicker than I've ever seen before, then still must use one of those tiny half-circle magnifying glasses when she could read.

As we prepared to leave, I asked if she'd like for the 4 of us to sing a hymn for her, and we ended up singing Amazing Grace.

Then, after we had prayer the other 3 drifted out, and with her lips barely able to move, she whispered to me "I just hope I will be at peace. I know I'm ready to go, but I hope I will be at peace."

So I replied that she should have no fear, she will not die alone, and won't cross to the other side alone - the angels will be with her and such rejoicing there should be on the other side. I talked about her finding complete healing in Heaven, no pain, no suffering, no fear, no times of loneliness or of not being able to see.

As I talked, her face relaxed, she closed her eyes, and then squeezed my hand once more as I left.

Please pray for Marie, this 80-year-old saint, as she passes through this valley of the shadow of death.
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
