Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

My prayers are especially for Darrel and also for you, Janet and your family, in this special time of need. May God's healing power and presence be with you both as you trust Him for the strength to go through this time of difficulty.

I recall the good visit we had at Niagara Falls last fall and I still see Darrel as I took this special picture of him as he displayed his new hat. My special prayer is for wisdom for the doctors and God's hand to be upon Darrel in  and through this time of recovery and all the experiences you and Darrel will have with God's loving help. I'll try to attach my photo of Darrel I took and pray for his full recovery! May God's blessing be upon you both.

Hi everyone.  Once again it is a beautiful sunny Saturday morning in my part of the country.  It looks like we can expect to get to 88 degrees around 3 pm today.

I did enjoy an hour with the guys at coffee yesterday morning.  I got a few small things accomplished here yesterday.  Last evening the laptop I am restoring for Pat was so slow it wouldn't do anything.  I started to shut it down and discovered the reason.  It was or had downloaded 197 Windows updates and so I had to wait for them to install, which has taken all night.  I just checked and there are 7 more to be installed.  I was able to put together an external hard drive with the hard drive from Pat's laptop.  So none of her files will have been lost because her old laptop died.  I hope to finish up working on it today and taking it upstairs for her to use in her sewing room.  I do need to go over to Walmart this morning for some lunch items.  I will go fairly early but not before 9 am when the deli should be open to get the lunch meat I like and the bakery products should be put out.  That should be the big activities for today unless Pat wants to go out to lunch for our big meal of the day and then she won't need to cook tonight.

Janet, your posting about the wreck really was a shock and glad to see that while you are going to be in a lot of pain from the torn muscles you are otherwise OK.  I do feel for Darrel as it sound like he will have a pretty long recovery period but the bones will heal and good news about there not being any internal injuries.  God did look out for you as you both could not be with us today.  There are blessing even in such a terrible event.

Paul, thanks for posting the good picture of Darrel as it is always good to have a face with a name.

Carol

I just put a note in Praise.

Janet, you must have been closer to your home and hospital when this happened.  thank heaven for great rescue care and such a close call that wasn't a full head on crash.
