JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

I think I'll join y'all with a cup of tea very shortly.

Certainly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the music, not to mention it has been good to see Jeanine relaxing.

Y'all have a nice rest of the day.

And soon our Ruth Ann can be relaxing, too!  :)

I got home last evening about 8, tired but happy from a week of painting.  I completed two nice scenes from Peru.

Today I was back at it, getting things ready for reunion.  So much work!  I hope we have a good attendance after all these preparations.

Now I'm off to bed.

Is everyone seeing Colin's videos ok but me?  I'm on broadband so it isn't that.  The video will start,  I hear the music, and then it will stop and some kind of menu thing for other videos will pop up on the little screen.  I've tried both videos posted, and can't watch either one.  :(

I got back home this evening...in time to enjoy Colin's video.  What beautiful scenery, getting to know our Jeannine better and loved the music!!

I don't know how I could be tired because I did nothing for three days.  Nothing.

It is such a hectic place at Jo's so I mostly kept Lydia entertained so she would stay out of her Mom's hair!

I got the choice of going to the dance rehearsal or the Commencement Thursday.  I chose the Commencement since I was going to the Dance Recital Friday night.  What a huge facility!  569 kids graduated.

Dance Recital was Friday night.  Lydia was in three dances...jazz, ballet and tap.  She said she didn't want to stay for the Finale so we left after her last dance which was the 12th dance after intermission.  Now all the students are pretty good but none...NONE...would be accepted if they tried out for 'So You Think You Can Dance'.  So many solos so really, I was ready to leave.  Lydia says she isn't dancing next year.  She wants to do sports of some kind.

Then today we woke to rain....yes, RAIN!  And the graduation Open House was to be outside.  So the trooper that Jo is got the kids to get busy and straighten the house and sure enough, all was ready by 1pm when the Open House started.  It was over at 3pm and guess what?  The rain stopped...the sun came out and all was clear all the way home!!

I am tired and not planning on attending church tomorrow.

Oh, yes.  Lydia came home with us and says she is staying a MONTH!  She is a great little gal....by herself and away from parents.  Aren't most kids????

AHA!!  I've been trying to see it on the computer in the kitchen, and that's why it wouldn't let me see it I guess.  I'd reformatted the hard drive and probably don't have some program needed.

I'm at my usual computer and got to see Jeanine climbing the mountains with your wife, Colin.  I loved your music too.

Ireland is sure beautiful.

Now you can rest. lol      Nita

Good morning everyone from N. Ireland and I am glad that Al Moak recognises it is a part of Britian! I am glad you are all enjoying the videos. I am working through the videos as I have taken them so you are seeing Jeannine's excursions from begining to the end.
Have a blessed day all.

Hi everyone.  It being Sunday morning I didn't have the normal need to arise quite as early so got to sleep in a bit.  Am finishing my breakfast, which Pat made for me today) and on the way to church we have to fill both cars with gas.  We have let both tank gets fairly low and we have a ten cent discount from Kroger for buying over $100 of food in a month so will try to fill both cars on the one pump.  This will involved filling one and one of us holding the hose while the car is moved and the other one brought in.  I will advise the attendant of our plans so the person won't think we have filled and are driving off.

Other than going to church and probably out to eat with the group, we have no other plans for the day.

If you all ever rent movies let me make a a recommendation.  Pat and I both are really enjoying a BBC show called "Monarch of the Glen".  It is set in Scotland and the scenery is beautiful and each story is different and yet followed a story line for the characters.  There are 7 seasons of it and you really should watch it from season one, episode one.  We just finished watching the 4th season yesterday.  When Pat and Paul were here we discussed it and they had seen it and liked it, at least Pat had.

Janet and Etta Sue, nice to have you both back home safely.  Janet, please don't work yourself into a tizzy in preparing for your family reunion.  Remember the folks are coming to see you and your family and not inspect your house.

Colin, thanks for the video.  Nita, glad you were able to see it.

We had a pleasant surprise last evening when the phone ran and it was Paul calling.  We also got to say hello to Pat.

Hope this is a great day for everyone.

hI, (Ruth Ann says as she is wiping perspiration!)

How're y'all doing. It's another really warm day here in Nashville, and the sunshine is beautiful. I'd just like to blow away the heavy humidity. :)

We old ladies had a bunch of fun at lunch after church today. Now, it's rest time.

Then, a birthday dinner (supper down South) for a long term friend.

So, I'll be thankful to get some rest in between times today. :)

Y'all have a good 'un.

Speaking of gas.  Our local news has been warning people to check their license plates frequently.  Seems that people are stealing license plates, then putting them on their car.  They fill up their tank and drive off.  The cameras catch your license plate number and YOU are the one contacted by the police.  Indiana only has a rear plate so with only two screws holding your plate on the car, it is easy to steal them.  And there have numerous vehicles that have gas siphoned from their car(s) while parked in the driveways.

I have spent way too much time on the computer today.  I was working with some photos I took this weekend and Corel told me I had some duplicate files...I deleted and renamed about 100 files!  Whew!

It is hot here today.  88°!  Glad for A/C.

I haven't even been outside today.

I was here earlier and had a long post written and lost it to the cyber spooks who came along and stole my post.  ???  ::)  :P

Keith is home now, I sent half of what was left of the Lasagne  home with him along with the homemade cookies and half of what was left of the cake. While we were eating breakfast on Saturday morning he bit down on something hard that turned out to be one of his fillings. so now he has to go to the dentist before we go on vacation.

Happy took him for a good run both days. I let Bebe off leash and she ran with them while I walked briskly along behind. Keith always takes Happy's leash, he doesn't want to take any chances of Happy   making me fall down. But when I walk Happy I just plant my feet and don't let him go forward until he realizes that I am the one in control then he walks at my pace except way out in front of me.

Satruday when we went out to Safeway to buy the stuff for the Lasagne we stopped at the park and checked out all the classic cars from around this area that  were on display. Keith mowed the lawns and watered the front on Saturday afternoon. Alll in all we had a great visit, did a lot of disscussing future plans.

Back to work tomorrow, and in 11 days I will be heading out for Oregon again this time for our vacation.

Goodness, already past 9 PM.  Where did the day go?

Larry, I should have had that advice earlier!  I feel as if I am being attacked by something--sore throat, fever and headache.  I'm taking vitamin C and Zinc, drinking lots of water, taking pain pills.  I'm supposed to help with a funeral dinner tomorrow at church, but if I feel I have anything contagious, I won't go.  I think I have just worked too hard for too long, and my resistance was down.  I've been so tired every day.

We do have things ready in the garage.  Will have to do a final sweeping, as every time we open the garage door (the big one) stuff blows in.  And I have a lot of cooking yet to do, as well as cleaning my studio.  But I will make it!  ;)

Ruth Ann, so good to hear you talking about having fun times.  You deserve it!

As usual, I'm heading off to bed now.

Good Evening Everyone...

We've had a rainy evening.  A tornado touched down in Lucan, Ontario too (just north of London, Ontario) and we've had all sorts of warnings all day long.  It seems to have passed by now though.

Sounds like you are all busy.

We had a great day in church today.  There was a musical group from Faithway Baptist College in Ajax, Ontario (the pastor's daughter is in the group) in attendance and what a wonderful morning with them singing and then one of the professors speaking.  They are now headed out to British Columbia and then back to the East Coast of Canada to sing every night in churches across the country.

It's wonderful to be busy in the Lord's work for sure.
