Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Janet I think Pat is down at the new house.  She was going to a concert down there.  I am not sure how Phil is.  I haven't had any updates.

Liz Know I am praying.

Janet men don't get bladder infections....please tell Darryl to get to a urologist.

Keep me in prayer.  Things are tough up here.

QuotePat Scott Halbach  Arrived in Vermont! What wonderful scenery. Now we're in the Newport Super 8 waiting for the fiddle concert tonight. I can hardly wait to start tapping my toes!

I am posting this from Facebook.  Have a good day everyone.

Farrah Fawcett was a devout Catholic according to the news and her friends, MJ  was a Jehovah's Witness at least his family is.

Yes prayers for all of us and our loved ones.  I spent the afternoon in Burlington visiting with Allan.

Larry:  Doug our son left work early and you would need to know him to understand his humor but one thing he said to one of his superiors was are you trying to stop me from spending a weekend with my Dad? Doug works for the company that Mel retired from, Doug loves his job and they the workers enjoy teasing.

About Michael Jackson I have also heard enough.

Marilyn: Thanks for the e-mail

Janet:  Keep on keeping on and I hope that Darrel is ok .
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:6

Hi everyone.  I am ready for church this morning but still a couple of hours before we will leave.  It is to be 96 degrees here today.

We attended a meeting yesterday and then went out to lunch with two friends.  I came home and rested/napped awhile and then had a quiet afternoon and evening.  I finished reading a very good book by Jerry Jenkins (of the Left Behind series of books) called the Riven.  It is an interesting story and really demonstrates the power of God in our lives.  It is a long book, over 500 pages, but very readable and hard to put down.  The last chapters really present the plan of salvation in a very unique way.  It is not a book I will easily forget.

Janet, you are an inspiration to us all and I encourage you to continue to share your frustrations with us.  While I know that it is Christ that in there to help you carry the burden and get through each day, we are your friends and care deeply for you and for Beth.  I hope you will have some family and friends visit you today.  If you haven't done so I would certainly encourage you to seek out the chaplain staff at the hospital.  During some of the darkest time we had while my Dad was hospitalized during a two month period and other times they were most helpful and comforting to us.  I hope Darrel will seek medical attention as this is not something that should be ignored.

Jeanne, our gasoline is selling for around $2.50 a gallon but the price continues to climb.  Hope you got your medication yesterday.

I agree with the comments concerning Michael Jackson.  The news coverage was so intense here that I just turned it off.  I fear all of this is a good indication of the sickness of this country.

Etta Sue, you really had a busy day.  DVD players need not be very expensive.  The last one I got was less than $50 as I recall.  All it does it play DVDs, which is exactly what I wanted.

Liz, sorry to hear of the problems Ralph had with the surgery.  However, he should start to feel much better after getting rid of the gall bladder.  Sorry to read of his sister's problem with cancer.

Judy, thanks for the information from Pat.  Hope she and Paul enjoyed the concert.  Glad John was able to be home this weekend.

Darrel has been having prostate problems for several years, and is under treatment for it; has had the "GREEN LIGHT" surgery for it.  So he is aware of the need to see a doctor if it continues.

Marilyn, MJ joined the muslims while he was being sued for child molestation.  :idiot:

I went to RMcD and went to bed at 7 last evening.  Whew.  I decided I will come and go during daylight hours as I really need to get some exercise, so am now walking, rather than calling Secrity for rides.  But if it is after dark when I need to go or come, I will call.  However, the days are plenty long right now!

Finally today I have found some of my favorite Christian progrms on TV here.  Beth and I have been watching th 700 Club every morning, but couldn't find the others.

I need to help the nurse.........

Later...man, I don't know how the care would be without MOM.  The nurse said there are no CNAs here on Sunday, and no way could she turn and hold Beth and give her a bath--so I helped.  It seems they expect me to do an awful lot of her care.  I should have my CNA by the time we leave.  (Not that I ever planned to get it!)  They keep saying they are going to put me on the payroll, but I haven't seen my check!

I hope all of you enjoy church today.  Sure wish I could go.
