Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Jeanne Lee

Hi everyone. My name is Ken Corson.  Jeanne Lee is my Mom.  I wanted to let her friends here know that my Mom is in the hospital.  As many of you know, my Mom has been ill for a number of years. She suffers from COPD.  She's been doing relatively poorly recently and I was busy getting the wheels rolling to move her into a Nursing Home. I was here last Friday and she was in very good spirits and actually looking forward to this new chapter in her life.

I came up to see her yesterday to finish dotting "I's" and crossing "T's" to get the show on the road. When I saw her yesterday, I was floored as she had gone downhill VERY dramatically in a very short period of time. She has had a DNR for quite some some, and after consulting with the doctors here at the hospital, we agreed that keeping her comfortable was really the only thing that could be done, so ......... here we are.  She is comfortable.  I was frankly surprised that she made it through last night. She is a stubborn and tenacious lady, but she is tired ....... so very very tired.  The fight is over and she wants to be with God.

I'm sitting next to her now.  She is so peaceful.  Pray for her and wish her luck on the journey on which she is about to embark.  She's been my Mom for 65 years and I will miss her terribly.

if anyone wishes to contact me for any other information, I can be reached at
kencorson1952@gmail.com

Sincerely,
Ken Corson

Dear Ken...I have just seen your posting on our other site S & Fs, but thought it more appropriate I make my posting to you on this Christian forum as I know your mother holds so much faith in our God, and that he will always hold her in his arms...Please relay my message to her that I think of her often, have looked in daily to see if she has posted so...I now feel very saddened to hear of this news...please give Jeanne Lee a kiss from me, and tell her it is-was, a real pleasure to have known her on both forums...

I have "known" your mom here on CP since 2000, wow it's been 17 years, she has helped me with  Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop lessons years ago. I will certainly miss her, I also spoke on the phone with her on one occasion in 2003 when I was having computer problems which she talked me through solving the problem. I will be praying for her peaceful departure and for you Ken,  as you face your grieving period. Shalom and God bless you both.

How considerate of you to let us know  -  you are a good son.

I've appreciated Jeanne's participation in this online forum.

May she have peace and release from pain during these days.

God bless you both.

Janet

Ken, thank you for letting us know about dear Jeanne.  She was such a faithful prayer warrior in behalf of me and my daughter, who just went home to glory on December 11.  She assured me she had plenty of time for praying during her sleepless nights, and that my Beth was always at the top of her list!  What a precious servant of God, and how we will miss her on here.

Pat Scott Halbach called me last evening in tears, to let me know.  As you know, Pat is going through a terrible time of illness and trouble in her own life, with almost unbearable pain.  But she loves Jeanne so!  And was upset that because of a broken arm, she cannot type, and so wanted to let the rest of us on this forum and S & F, know about your mother.

I hope your sister has arrived, and that our precious friend Jeanne will have a peaceful homegoing, that you and your sister will be comforted and know the peace of God as well.  Thank you for being there with her, it makes me feel so much better to know she isn't alone at this time.  God bless you!
