Firefox (http://www.firefox.com) here. Don't know how I'd live without tabbed browsing or the Web Developer (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=60) extension.

Did you put this up in the poll, Jane?

Pat, tabbed browsing is something that Firefox has.  It's just an easier way to have multiple pages open, and switching back and forth.  Your tool bar shows the pages and you just click on whichever one you want.  Does that make sense?  I'm sure someone else could explain it better.   I really like FF.

I'm changing to Peoplepc and it uses IE ... I found out that AOL is a "partner" with Netscape ... not IE.    :idiot: Whadda I know?

I use Mozilla most of the time, because the "geeks" say it's safer, and IE when I want to just click on one of the dozens of bookmark/favorites I have in there in a hurry !

Regular Mozilla (also called Seamonkey now) is boring. Firefox is best :)

If you're on a mac, I recommend Camino (http://www.caminobrowser.org) instead of Safari. Camino is a Mac-only browser from Mozilla and is much better than Safari.

I use Internet Explorer 7 or Slim Browser (which uses IE) for everything, except if I want to log onto this website.  I can't get IE 7 to log on - keeps telling me the cookies aren't right.  I've done everything I can to open up the security and it still is cranky.  Really is a pain.  At least I can READ the site in the browser I use the most.   :-\

Got a warning when i clicked on this topic, Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 300 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic.

Well i think i am sure, hope the penalty for posting here is not too great. It's Firefox for me, i only use internet explorer to get my updates with. Love the way i can customise it and love all the add on's. Yes i know there is a adon i can use to get updates just never used that one.

I too use Firefox. I do have IE 8 beta but do not use it. every time I use IE  it freezes up and then closes itself, It did that with IE7 also. Which is why I downloaded Firefox.

With the SMF forum software, that warning is put in for all old topics that haven't been posted in.

Very often I'll just go to the old topics and post in them to make them current!  ;)

Thanks Don!

I used to use Safari. But then I discovered Firefox, which is better in my opinion ( not onion, but opinion. there's a big difference. ).

I agree!

I use Firefox almost the whole time.  I check things with IE every so often.

Knowing that Al uses a Mac, I imagine iCab is a Mac product.  Sounds like the way they name things - iMac, iPod, etc.

I've been using Firefox exclusively for a long time now and I find it annoys me when I click on a link and it opens with IE.  Just me being a contrary old lady, I guess.   :D

If that makes you a contrary old lady then I must be a contrary old man because I feel the same about internet explorer as you.

I use Mozilla FF. Though I use to be IE person until there were a few sites I couldn't post pictures to-they were incomptaible with what must of been an 'upgrade' that did it. For some reason I begrudged MF at that time just because I was stubborn, but now I really like it...Tried Opera several years ago-didn't understand it. Of course I was new to computers then so there was alot I didn't understand... :)
