Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Removing the Haze
in Lightroom 5

Here is how I remove haze in Lightroom 5.

This is the original image taken in the Smoky Mountains.

1.  In the Camera Calibration I'm going to change the profile to Camera Landscape because it is a landscape shot.

Here is a better look at the settings.

2. In Tone Curve -100 Lights

Here is a better look at the settings.

3. In Basic -100 Highlights, -50 Blacks, 50 Clarity, 50 Vibrance

Here is a better look at the settings.

4. Click on the Graduated Filter pull it down from the top until the dot is about 1/3 of the way down.  I went -1.00 on the exposure.  Depending on the picture you may not need to use the graduated filter.

Here is a better look at the settings.

5.  Overall the image looks dark so I added .50 exposure in Basic.

Here is a better look at the settings.

Finished Product

Depending on your image you may have to do more or less to it.

Excellent tutorial on Lightroom techniques, Buddy. I am sure many will find this very helpful.
