Title: Playing with water
Post by: joshua_ on January 26, 2013, 02:44:05 PM
This is my first try with water drops.  I want to do some more and keep learning - this wasn't quite what I was going for, but it was fun.  I've got a few ideas to add in next try.

Did you use an off camera flash for this?

Well these that are shown here I actually had the light on the camera. I started with the light off of the camera just sitting at an angle to the left of the water, but shortly after I started the batteries died in my wireless triggers.  So, I took the light and put it on the camera.

I really want to do some more and play with the light off of the camera to change the lighting.  I also want to do some of those where you use a pattern so that it shows up in the drips.  I did a few that were upside down and learned that you have to turn the pattern over to make it right side up in the drip :).

Anyway, this is fun for some odd reason.

These water drop images are excellent.  I've not had the patience to try this yet.

Do you have more?
