We wandered out to Pompey's Pillar on the Yellowstone on Saturday and I soon saw a rockchuck sunning himself in the grass. I put the sneak on him, trying to get a decent picture of what are usually flighty critters. He quickly saw me and dove into a hole. My disappointment was short-lived, as several others weren't so quick to run and hide. These two didn't appear too concerned about my presence and posed quite nicely for me.

They do look totally unconcerned! :D More interested in the warm sunshine than you and your camera!
Well done. They are furry critters, much like our groundhogs. Well done, they gave you time to get a good focus!
They sure do look as if they are enjoying the sunshine.
