... and I'm glad. This Northern Flicker has been gone a couple of months.

Looks like he is hungry and glad to be back to the food trough! He is a beautiful bird. Well done!

Thanks, guys! The first time I saw him at the suet literally took my breath away. I don't blame you a bit, Kevin. Are very restricted in your camera usage there?

Not restricted at all. Where I live in Japan, though, we don't have near the variety of birds, nor the access that one might have in certain parts of the US. So I miss SW Louisiana and its great birds on occasion. :)
