Okay, so today I went to the Snake River Birds of Prey Festival and I went on a Western Burrowing Owl lecture and tour. I actually got to hold a days old fledgling! It was just over a week old. I still can't believe it! Unfortunately, I forgot to have someone take a picture of me holding one. bummer.
Anyway, see more images from the tour here...http://www.shekinahphotography.com/burrowingowltour
What an amazing experience!
That fledgling was in the safest place and the most dangerous place. In your hand!!!
Wow a great picture too!
Wow, now isn't that the sweetest??!!! :) So teeny and how exciting to hold! 8)
That is so adorable!
