This is actually a mother bird waiting to deliver this yummy morsel to the baby bird who is waiting for it.  I was observing her out hunting for the food and watched her as she flew up and landed here on this branch.  She then delivered it to her baby, but she turned her back at me to feed it and I didn't get the shot.  Bummer!  The baby is here...http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?topic=7717.msg125991;topicseen#msg125991 if you want to see it.

There had been two babies the day before but the next day there was only one.  I have a photo of him winging just before flying out of the nest.  One down, one to go.
