Like the capture Barbarian. Panning is something i have a hard time with.

This is what i aspire to do also, to fly, not the picture. Oh well, one day before too long. :)

I love to see action pictures.  This one is beautiful.  The Heads (eyes) are crisp and clean and the wings blurred.  They are really flapping.  Well done

Thank you all.  As Don suggested, I had to pan to get anything at all.   I went to the lake early, and before things brightened up, these came in for a landing.   I had to use a very slow shutter speed.  The softness would be unacceptable in some cases, but I think it is an attractive shot anyway.
