Thought I'd just jump right in with both feet and share a Bald Eagle picture taken on the way home from church a couple weeks ago.  Several juvenile eagles were taking test flights, while this adult seemed intent on observing their technique!

WOW what a wonderful picture.  A friend said once that to take good wild life pictures you have to focus on the eyes.  You sure have done that here.  I can see why the statement in the Bible "They shall mount up with wings as eagles....."

Love it! I frequent a park that has them but they are hard pressed to see or capture with camera. I got a shot of one in 2006, but not since...REally nice shot of this one though!

Thanks everyone.  I was very excited to get a nice series of images of bald eagles that day.  They are just beginning to nest, and soon the cottonwood trees will be in full leaf, so the opportunities to get pictures like this will be few and far between.

Judy, I took this on US Highway 12, between the burgeoning cities Roundup and Musselshell, Montana (well, at least they were burgeoning 80 years ago!).

For 3 years I drove I-80 with my husband twice a week as a truck driver.  Once we saw a Golden Eagle flying right at the truck.  We thought for sure it wat going to crash into us.  Instead it flew right over without flapping a wing.  It was the most amazing sight I have ever seen.  Wish I'd had the camera handy.

I'm just seeing this now, Ken!  Wow!  I've never been this close to an eagle.  This is truly majestic!
