My sister Courtney took these pics ( she loves birds ). She is also a very good artist specializing in pencil drawings,  as well as photography.

Cute pictures!  I also love birds.  We have lots come into the garden and were especially happy to have Anna's Hummingbirds this winter.  Get lots of the Rufus in the summer, the Anna's are much more difficult to attract.

I've enjoyed watching a beautiful red headed woodpecker as he diligently works to dismantle a tree stump in my front yard. When I have more time (likely late summer), I want to spend more time with the birds in our area (Nashville, Tn).

Courtney, I also like your pretty bird photos.  They aren't the easiest subject to capture, are they?  Good job!  How old are you?  Good to have you with us here on CP.

I too love birds, I think that is a family thing.  We too have the hummers back, generally ruby throated.
