Just trying things out here. It was going to be a series, but that didn't work. :)

Nice capture, Jim! Perfect timing how one claw has grabbed with the other one yet to grab. I like it! :)
Wow is that ever good. It looks like a painting. Add the rest of the series to a new post here on this thread. That way they will still be a series.
Wow!!!!
What a capture!

Simply amazing. I'd love to see more in your series. Just click on "Reply" below the last post and keep adding. If you have these in your gallery here on the site, to add another photo to a post here in the forum, just click the button below the typing box that says "Gallery Image" and then get the code from your site.
There are instructions on how to do this in the "How To's" and once you've done it, it's really easy.
And a big :welcome: to Christian Photographers, Jim! Great to have you.
Very nice image!
Beautiful shot of the bird and perfect timing!
I agree. Very cool picture, Jim. I love the detail.
Great Shot  . What kind of bazooka did you shoot this fine specimine with?
I shoot a 500mm bazooka and sometimes a 1.7x teleconverter. Thanks for the comments all.(https://www.christianphotographers.com/community/gallery2/d/4861-2/_DSC8407.jpg) (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/v/jga154/Wildlife/_DSC8407.jpg.html)

They are such beautiful birds. We have a pair that come back every year and nest in our roof. This being an old farmhouse we have bats in the attic, and the hawks get rid of them for another year. I do enjoy watching them.
Nice captures! :)
