I took this photo at Barr Lake prior to heading home from a business trip to Denver last week.  It was just about dusk on a cold, windy day and this Canada Goose was trying to turn in early.  I thought it was a quiet, serene image, with the pinkish/purple evening sky reflecting on the water.

Good job. This picture has very nice, rich colors.

Thanks everyone.  And Jeanne, you are quite observant to notice that she had her eye on me!  She was sleeping underneath a narrow walking bridge I was on, and I had to hang over the edge of the bridge and shoot nearly upside-down to get the shot.  The distance to her was only about 20 ft, maybe a tad more.  I couldn't open up the lense for a different composition without getting distracting elements in the frame.  You might say I bothered her a little, because right after I took a few shots, she un-tucked her head and looked directly at me, but never was concerned enough to drop down her other foot!

My goodness what dedicated photographers will do to get a picture!   We've had people hanging out of windows, lying down on wet grass and now hanging off a bridge!   

Wow  That makes the picture all the more amazing!
