Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Just picked up a couple of new cameras - Nikon P-90 and a Olympus E-410 that I pick up Wednesday.  These are some shots from the P-90.  The top two were shot racked out through double-glazed glass.

With tripod

Freehand

Macros - freehand

Hey Gary!

Some great focus there.  I don't know that camera!  Fantastic though!

It just came out at the end of March, Pat.  The P-90 has become my new carry-around.  I've sold my Oly SP570UZ and picked up an Oly E-410 with extras from Craigslist.  The price could NOT be passed up an I think I'm ready to migrate to dSLR as my main squeeze.  Here's the P-90 specs:

Gary, that looks great!

I still use my Nikon Coolpix 950 as the macro feature on that camera is amazing.

And Paul (my husband) is using my Nikon Coolpix 8700.  It's a great camera as well.

I'd like a carry around cam that would fit into my purse and I'd take it all the time when I don't feel like carrying my Nikon D80

These are beautiful shots, man I love birds!

All you folks shooting birds have inspired me, I just bought a new zoom lens and an extension ring today for some bird photography.  :)

I just got an Oly E-410 and the Nikon P-90 but, to date, all of my captures have been made with P&S cameras.  Take a trip to my pseudo-blog and have a look.  I think they did a admirable job.

That camera does a great job.

I Love the second bird,  but the flowers are lovely as well.
