The red is almost overpowering, but the gold leaf railings make a good foil for the door, found this whilst taking Margery's dog for a walk one day.

That little yellow strip along the left side is so important in that image...

I love red, and I really love this picture.  BUT like barbarian says That yellow strip is so important to the picture as well as the railing.   Well done!

Do you have a membership on Flickr.com?   They have a group called "Red like nobody's business", and they'd love to have that door featured, I think.
