Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

What a shame to see what must have been a beautiful building now going to ruin.

If it is free - it is advice.
If it cost money - it is Counseling.
If either works - it is a miracle.

Yes, it's an HDR, a lot more aggressively so than I normally like.   It seemed right for this one.

What a beautiful building that was!

Can it be restored....Maybe by a Howard Hughes type?

I don't know but it is overly pale on my monitor screen. So I adjusted the colors and contrast.
Tell me if this one looks better or worse.

A very good job Mario, although I prefer the mood in the original. As a matter of fact I'd like to see
this one in B/W.

Great job Barbarian

Okay Jim, here is how I see it in BW. (thanks for the great shot, Barb, we're having fun here.)

Hey, now that's what I'm talkin' about. I like this, (still like the original better)  :) This shot has
alot of possibilities. I mean you could just do a lot with it that would be pleasing I think.
Ain't potografy funn??  :D

Beautiful building. I feel the same as Jeanne about old buildings. This must of been so magnificent in it's day!
God's Word is truth, You can trust and believe what he says more than any human word!!!--"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble,I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

I really like the first one.  Almost has a "fairy tale" look about it.

Thanks Barbarian!

Barbarian, I've also wondered about the curve in the building.  I know this is caused by zooming in, etc. but is there a possibility of straightening it in PS?  Or do you like to see it this way?

I have a few like that and wonder if I should straighten the walls or leave them.

I deliberately swiveled the camera to stuff all of it into the picture.   Trying to unbend the picture was tough and not very effective.   The quality isn't so good, since I used a small version of the picture.   I used the Curve Bend filter in GIMP, so there might be better ways.   I never tried one like this before.
