Another stormy day, and the steelwork of a building is being erected in Blackburn, I just happened to notice the bright yellow of the diagonal gib of the crane set against the wonderful blue structure behind.
I got out the camera and 90mm lens and to my horror found the lens barrel and lens cap coated in chocolate, yes the summicron, anyway the picture first then a quick session of getting the chocolate off the lens, and when I got home I went to work with some wooden cocktail sticks which did an excellent job and got every bit of it out of all the nooks and crannies, and then some moist lens wipes to mop up any residue.
How a piece of chocolate had got in the camera bag in the first place I'll never know, but it did, surprising what happens.
Well, I like this, chocolate and all! I love the stark contrast of yellow against blue.
